The Free State Wyoming forum was “suspended” about a month or more ago, and the members have not been able to contact Boston or discover any reason for the suspension since then. The original website is still available, but may not be for long.
The Free State Wyoming organization was started some time around 2003 when Boston T Party (Kenneth W. Royce) split from the Free State Project when they elected to go to New Hampshire. Click the link here if you are interested in the back story of the FSW.
After some discussion among the FSW members, it was decided to go ahead and establish another forum, Wyoming Mavericks, independent of FSW and Boston. If the FSW forum is restored at any time, there should be no conflict. We wish Boston well in whatever he’s doing, and hope he finds the very best life has to offer.
The Wyoming Mavericks are not any kind of “organization.” We have no bylaws, meetings, officers, dues or any political agenda for “the country,” though individual members are and have been politically active. We mostly want to live in peace, minding our own business; being good neighbors to all who wish the same. The forum is our meeting place and source for mutual encouragement and assistance, especially for those contemplating moving to a place with greater personal freedom.
The Wyoming Mavericks are very, very grateful to the administrator and members of The Mental Militia for hosting our new forum. We invite you to visit both fora. They are very different, but have similar goals: Individual liberty through voluntary association.
