I live in Westminster and alot of the people i meet here hate the way this state is going and want to change it. Westminster should & must join in this movement or i will have to move a few miles North. LIVE FREE OR DIE! TRAITORS MUST BE PUNISHED & HANGED LIKE THEY DID TO TRAITORS IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS IN THE WEST.

Ok, given all that, what makes McCain qualified to dictate anyone else’s life? How does any of that give him a legitimate authority to control other people?

John McCain followed his father and grandfather, both four-star admirals, into the United States Navy, graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1958. He became a naval aviator, flying ground-attack aircraft from aircraft carriers. During the Vietnam War, he was almost killed in the 1967 USS Forrestal fire. In October 1967, while on a bombing mission over Hanoi, he was shot down, seriously injured, and captured by the North Vietnamese. He was a prisoner of war until 1973. McCain experienced episodes of torture, and refused an out-of-sequence early repatriation offer. His war wounds left him with lifelong physical limitations.`..;’

I never, ever “want” to shoot another human being again if I can get out of it, but I might very well “need” to do so at any time.

If you’ve never had to pull that trigger and see the bleeding… I hope you never go there.

I guess I was figuring that if I wanted something – the needing part had already been established…
Kinda’ like the D and A part of OODA. The needing is deciding – and the wanting is just a hair before the acting. I’ve definitely observed where people did compartmentalise wanting and needing. I’ve spent a long time working out not to want what I don’t need. Perhaps better put – I try to keep my wanting and my needing in alignment with each other. Still a work in progress!
