Williamsburg (VA): Excuse Me, You Can Only Speak Freely There (Godfather Politics) In the latest instance, the historic city of Williamsburg, Virginia is seriously considering stripping Americans of their First Amendment right to the freedom of speech. It seems that some merchants in town complained about Christian's trying to witness, preach and hand out materials on the public sidewalks outside their businesses. ... ready to enact a city ordinance that will establish designated areas for free speech and restrict free speech in other areas. Furthermore, there would be an additional condition placed on the free speech zones stating that any speaking heard more than 50 feet away would be a violation. The restricted areas would include Market Square and all historical areas within the city. I guess this is more shocking because it IS Williamsburg, where Patrick Henry made his inflammatory (and hated) speech, and where the Cavaliers and Roundheads of England became the even more liberty-loving and extremist Americans. Of course, Massachusetts long ago lost any concept of real liberty, so why should I be surprised that Virginia and Rockefeller-rebuilt Williamsburg itself are just one more dominion of tyranny? (Read

Van
Jones: Dishonest, Intolerant Slavery AdvocateThe
Violence Against Women Act and The War
on Men
By Gordon E. Finley, Ph.D. VAWA most effectively destroys families through
temporary Restraining Orders. Gone are the days when physical evidence
of DV was required and cross-examination was permitted to help judges
distinguish between false and true allegations. In today’s
courts, a woman can allege to a judge (without the accused being
present) that she was the victim of DV and is requesting a restraining
order based on “expanded” definitions of DV. “Expanded”
definitions include vague senses of discomfort, fears, and “Economic
DV” (where the man did not fulfill the woman’s economic wants).
Judges virtually always grant VAWA restraining orders to women “just to be on the safe side” even when there is no tangible evidence of threat -- just the woman’s non-verifiable internal purported feelings. Tragically, however, the consequences to children, fathers, and families are very tangible. With the restraining order in hand, the police remove the father from the home (often in the middle of the night) with nothing but the shirt on his back, order him to stay out of his home and away from his wife and children, and immediately begin paying child support to the woman who just “stole” his children and his home from him. Microchip Knows Your Location To Within Centimeters
by Nathan Barton © 2012 The most serious problem I have with Watson is
what he comes up with as the only thing to "combat" the dire threat he
postulates. How in blazes can he possibly think that "strong
new legislation" is going to do ANYTHING but lull the frogs in
the pot for a bit longer? The government has proven and proven
and BOASTED that "we don't need no stinkin' law" and that
they are not constrained by anything. This current
administration is in contempt of court for numerous violations of the
law, and has given Congress the finger time and time again, and
breaks both the laws and the Constitution on a daily basis.
(Read the rest here) By Larken Rose Mr. Jones seems to be doing quite a bit of
psychological projecting in his accusations. If you want to see an
intolerant, hateful, pack-mentality control freak, look no further than
Van Jones. Or Obama, for that matter. It is really sad that anyone
would believe, based on the color of Obama's skin, that he actually
cares about black people. Obama doesn't care about the average American
black any more than George Bush cares about me. Despite the patently
idiotic tripe we're all taught to the contrary, people don't seek
positions of power and control in order to help and serve those whom
they seek to control. Do you think Van Jones, or Obama, wanted to be
where they are so they could leave you alone? They wanted the "Ring of
Power" so they could USE it. And the only way anyone can use the power
of "government" is to violently control people. That's all "laws" are:
threats of violence.

The
State is an Epidemic
(Read

painful cancer on humanity. Its most evolved mutation, the Westphalian
nation-state, has metastasized over the last 360-odd years, covering
the globe with tumors of “national sovereignty” which perpetually eat
away at the humanity they infest, using that humanity partially as fuel
for their own growth and partially as fodder for their wars with other,
similar tumors.
It’s difficult to grasp the scale of damage political government has done, but the work of Professor Emeritus RJ Rummel of the University of Hawaii — no anarchist himself — is a good place to start. In the 20th century alone, according to Rummel, “democide” (murder by government) resulted in at least 262 million human deaths. Clinton
tells Obama to not 'waste a minute' to use Trayvon Martin for gun laws
(Read

before he became President Obama's White House Chief of Staff, Rahm
Emanuel was a senior adviser to President Bill Clinton. Although
it was not until just after Obama's election in November, 2008 that
Emanuel famously told the Wall Street Journal that, "You never want a
serious crisis go to waste," one cannot help but wonder if he had
instructed Clinton in that same philosophy as his adviser. Then
again, perhaps exploiting crisis and tragedy for personal and political
gain comes naturally to people like Bill Clinton.
Should handguns be permitted in places like college campuses, national parks and coffee shops? If they get you asking the wrong question, then the answer does not matter. The question isn’t whether weapons should be permitted, the question should be: “What right do you have to limit my freedoms because you are afraid?” Remember: The freedom to own and carry the weapon of your choice is a natural, fundamental, and inalienable human, individual, civil, and Constitutional right — subject neither to the democratic process nor to arguments grounded in social utility. Journalist's Guide to 'Project Gunwalker'-Part Ten This is a continuation of updates from this
column and Sipsey Street Irregulars beginning April 10, 2012. It
also includes contributions from regional Gun Rights Examiners. It will
continue to be updated until file character limits are met, and then a
new volume will be started. Libertarians must be doing something really really right. Three big time politically connected government gang-bangers have launched attacks against libertarianism. We learned a few days ago that Orrin Hatch is "doggone offended" by "radical libertarians" who would dare attempt to dislodge him from "his" Senate seat. "I despise these people," he snarled, "and I'm not the guy you come in and dump on without getting punched in the mouth."
