Ah, Monday! A Monday in which there is almost NO government business being conducted in DC, thanks to the weekend storm which dumped 30 inches of global warming inside the Beltway. Lovely! Theft by Government - Local tyranny PHOENIX FOOD TAX INCREASE A SIGN OF FAILURE Daily Policy Digest The average cost for all Phoenix city employees is $100,000, including all benefits. This is about double the compensation for the average private-sector employee in the Phoenix-Mesa area, according to Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio... GOLDWATER INSTITUTE/ARIZONA REPUBLIC A healthy and reasonably free economy can afford to support the parasites; just as a healthy and profitable business can afford to support deadwood and even deadbeat relatives. The economy of Arizona (and this Union) is neither healthy nor free, and the drone classes are bigger than anything the old French Monarchy ever had to support. This pushes the non-criminal classes of Phoenix closer and closer to rebellion. (Read the rest here) External Articles
Professional party-pooper by Larken Rose In the past, I spent lots of money and lots of
time supporting this or that candidate, advocating for or against this
or that legislation, as a lot of “political activists” have done, and
continue to do. Looking back, I now not only realize that it was a
total waste of time trying to beg “the system” for freedom, but I
realize that it was worse than if I had done nothing at all. By
bickering over who should be my new master, or whining to the masters
to please do what I wanted (they didn’t), I was only reinforcing the
notion that “the system” is legitimate–that I should have a master, and
that I have some obligation to do what he tells me to do. (Read

Our Right To Defend Ourselves RKBA Resources National Gun Rights Examiner By now, most of us are aware of the shooting at
the University of Alabama in Huntsville. According to reports, a female
biology professor denied tenure allegedly opened fire during a faculty
meeting, killing three and wounding three others. You can keep up with the latest on this story by clicking here. For now, one story, from MSNBC of all places, makes the point that must not go unacknowledged: (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. Use the back button to return.) I emphatically assert that I do not belong to any government. I did not consent to be "represented" or ruled. I don't buy into the lie of "implied consent". I did not sign any constitution so I do not agree to be "governed" even if a government actually obeyed that document. I do not need governmental protection from anything. There is nothing in it for me or for anything I value, and there is nothing I am willing to voluntarily give any government, anywhere on this planet or any other. Nothing, that is, except the cold shoulder, or if pressed, contempt. If anything, I am a denizen. I happen to live where I live. That is all. It's typical
Grigg, and I am completely and totally in 100% agreement with WoG
regular jon that this is the big-money quote in the article:
Since it is unacceptable for people to believe that
government agents will carry out paramilitary raids to confiscate
firearms, a paramilitary force was sent to Girard’s home to confiscate
his firearms.
That just about sums it up, doesn't it? And just in case anyone still thinks it's just about the guns: In the hands of the armed servants of the tax-feeding class, tear gas, pepper spray, and batons are considered “less-than-lethal” weaponry. But Girard, as a mere Mundane, isn’t permitted to own tear gas grenades and pepper ball rounds; accordingly, he was charged with four counts of possessing “an infernal device” and four counts of possessing a “dangerous weapon.” Libertarian

Music with libertarian lyrics – what could be more fun? By Garry Reed Does music move the freedom movement forward?
For many libertarians, it's not enough to continually advance the libertarian philosophy through politics and academics and economics. To be a successful movement it must infuse every facet of society – in magazines and newspapers and books and art and TV and movies and blogs and tweets until it becomes mainstream and acceptable. And that would include music too. (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. Use the back button to return) The Libertarian
