MONDAY European collapse - Islamic war: Swiss Vote to Ban Minarets Viewed by Some As Human Rights Violation, by Others As Catalyst for Muslim Assimilation CNSNews.com In a surprise vote on Sunday, the Swiss people moved to ban the construction of minarets, the tall spires on mosques. The vote has sparked accusations of “Islamophobia” as well as boycott fears, along with renewed debate about the challenges of Muslim assimilation in the West. The mainstream media still can't believe a "progressive" European country is doing this - and want to force these Neanderthals to join the "real world." What particularly galls some is that Swiss feminists voted in support of the ban - rightly fearing what a slide into Shari'a law would do to their lives. Mama's Note: As with so many other things around the world, however, the minarets are the least of the problem. The minarets are no more responsible for the imposition of Shari'a law than guns are responsible for gang violence. The Swiss need to focus their attention on reclaiming personal responsibility - getting rid of the socialist, welfare state that is actually the breeding ground for the ills they so conveniently ascribe to the mosque towers. If Congress manages to pass a health-insurance
bill in the next few
weeks, it will undoubtedly require every person to have medical
coverage or pay a fine. If someone’s employer doesn’t offer a policy,
he will be obligated to buy one for himself no matter how expensive.
(Subsidies will be available to lower- and middle-income people.)
Coverage is not likely to be cheap because the bill that President Obama signs will also undoubtedly mandate that “basic” coverage contain far more than coverage for bankruptcy-threatening catastrophic illness. It will also include a large variety of elective and preventive services that are actually inappropriate for insurance, since they are discretionary. The day of high-deductible, low-cost insurance will be gone. Congress and the president will decree that you must have Cadillac coverage even if a Ford suits your needs and your budget better. (Read the rest here) ![]() A Critical Decision by Michael Gaddy Members of all branches of the United States
Military will soon be facing a most critical decision. The European
Union Times is reporting here that Obama is using the deployment of
additional troops to Afghanistan to cover for the movement of some
200,000 troops, presently on duty in countries other than Iraq and
Afghanistan, to USNORTHCOM to prepare for the "expected outbreak of
Civil War within the United States before the end of winter."
It would appear those who call themselves "public servants" believe the people they supposedly serve have become dissatisfied with their job performance and will resort to some form of civil disobedience, which will necessitate military intervention. According to the article, Obama believes the reason for this civil unrest to be an expected "implosion" of this country’s financial systems. Should these events occur, members of the military would be forced to decide whether they would support their government, which gave hundreds of billions to their cronies in the financial sector, or their country (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. PD and state attorney would be: By what statutory authority do you get
off not enforcing state laws--or ensuring they are made known and
observed at events you co-sponsor? Is it a case of your ends justifying
the means? If so, what other laws are you free to ignore? (Perhaps a
better question would be, if you get to decide, what laws won't you be
free to ignore?) And what is your obligation under federal law should
someone turn in a weapon subject to NFA requirements?
My next questions would be for the sponsoring hospitals: Did you guys clear this through your risk management departments? I mean, we have Dr. Shapiro here telling everyone how dangerous guns are, that they should only be handled by trained professionals, and here you are encouraging the people who obviously know the least about them to handle them, to carry them, to transport them, to hand them off to others. Shapiro tells people in his pitch their guns must be unloaded. You're sure they know how to check? Do they know that just because you have the magazine out of a semi-automatic doesn't mean there might not be a chambered round? Do they know to keep their booger hooks off the bang switch? Do they know Cooper's rules for gun safety? Do you? (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. Use the back button to return.)

It reminds me of when I lost respect for a state-employed teacher over a silly act of "saving face". Our class was preparing for a zoology test on taxonomy, where we would look at examples of different animals and assign them to their proper order, class, and family.
