Commentary on The News 15 - 21 June State Department Says China to Get U.S. Aid under New Climate Deal CNSNews.com U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change Todd Stern said that there was “no question” that China would receive both financial and technological assistance from the United States as part of upcoming climate change talks to be conducted in Copenhagen, Denmark… Do I really understand this right? We owe China trillions in debts - mostly government debts, and now we are going to take some of that money we BORROWED from China and turn around and GIVE it to them? Mama's Note: Ok, let's see... Nope, try as I might, I can't figure out just how this is supposed to work. All governments are perfectly happy to consume the wealth and security of their own people. Why should anyone be surprised at that? (Read the rest here) ![]() Pending Terror Exercises
By Captain Eric H. May9/11 Truth Keeps Tabs
-- Vital Vigilance --
Ghost Troop, the patriotic cyber militia, also functions as a cyber media. This is especially the case with Mission 9/11-2B, our ongoing effort to preempt "the next 9/11." Interest in our work has grown steadily, to the point that yesterday CNN published a story about us, probably meant to tar us as crazed conspiracy theorists. Instead they brought us to the attention of the ever widening circle of the Internet. It is for these independent-minded people that we recently posted:
Pending Terror Exercises. Many in the 9/11 truth movement believe that the same homicidal cabal
that demolished the World Trade Center and blew a hole in the Pentagon
isn't finished with its madness. The way we see it, Barack Obama is
just the negative image of George W. Bush. The new boss is the same as
the old boss, only in a different color. (Read the rest

Preparation By Michael Gaddy Obvious to everyone but Boobus is the coming storm in America. Whether
it is initiated by a total economic tsunami, widespread civil unrest,
or a false-flag operation gone sour, it is coming.
In an earlier article here, I mentioned my friend Kit’s admonishment
that we must "bunch up" to survive the coming calamities, sage advice
indeed. While this bunching up can be accomplished in many ways, the
community level works best. In a community of like-minded individuals,
help is much closer, tasks can be shared and individual talents much
better implemented.
Having someone in your group with basic medical skills will be a necessity. If no one presently has those skills, enrolling in an EMT course at a local Community College will prove invaluable. Make basic medicines a part of your cache. Those who find themselves in an urban environment should consider moving. While you may believe you need to remain there for the income, is it really worth putting your life and family at risk? Urban environments have a much larger concentration of criminals and government employees, both of whom will prove to be your enemy. (Read the rest here)
![]() Boston on Guns and Courage By The Hunter
There are a few books and essays that should be in any freedom
lover's library. Their titles sweep down through history, recording
in concrete form the deep, vital roots of freedom. Every few years
another appears that cries out to be added to this fount of knowledge.
It is perhaps a sign of the times that many such additions have
appeared in the past few years. Some expound ideas, others record
events, a few make predictions or issue warnings, and yet others
explain vital techniques and skills needed for "eternal vigilance".
I've just put down the third and final edition of a remarkable
book that combines all of these – Boston's Gun Bible.
Originally published in 1998 as Boston on Guns and Courage,
then in revised form as Boston's Gun Bible in
2000, this 2002 revision adds 10 new chapters and 200 pages
of new material. Boston T. Party set out to write a comprehensive
review and instruction manual detailing small arms for the freedom
movement. He has succeeded far beyond any reasonable expectation:
this is quite simply the single best book on selecting, using,
maintaining, training with, and understanding firearms that
has been written to date. (Read the rest

![]() Snipe hunts are a rare fond memory of my high school days. They were a common means by which a guy got a girl away from the rest of the crowd at band camp. Most likely the fun of this was equally divided between sneaking a few kisses and hoping to find another couple similarly engaged. It wasn't until years later that I learned what a snipe is, and the various definitions of a snipe hunt. At the risk of being labeled as one of the libertarian purists whom I generally find close-minded and frustrating, I found myself reminded of the "sniper" connection to snipe hunts while reading a recent piece criticizing libertarian organizations that choose to obtain 501(c)(3), or nonprofit organization, tax status. The argument went that such groups aren't "walking their talk" because they take advantage of the state while they're supposedly working to minimize or eradicate it and its systems. The insinuation was made that such groups' leaders are hypocrites. (Read the rest here)
![]() Alice-in-Wonderland Justice at the DoJ By Carey Roberts To understand where this 96-page report went wrong, you have to realize
that the domestic violence industry has created a separate universe, a
parallel legal system that puts on a fine show of respecting due
process. But in this world the judicial outcome is virtually
predetermined -- especially if the accused is a male.
As you ponder the many bloopers in this report, keep in mind the fact that all the research shows women are just as abusive as men. And men are unlikely to report the incident to law enforcement, so police reports are of questionable value. So let’s peer through the looking-glass to find out what the Practical Implications report wants us to believe. (Read the rest here)

The False Dichotomy of "Right Wing" versus "Left Wing." By Mike Vanderboegh Ask the dead and they will tell you: there is NO difference. There are no "right wing" or "left wing" distinctions when it comes to government-sponsored violence. From Auschwitz to the Gulag to the killing fields of Cambodia to Mao's Cultural Revolution, a bullet in the brain of an innocent is still a bullet in the brain of an innocent, regardless of the excuse. Whatever its espoused ideological roots, government murder is collectivism. (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. Use the back button to return.) In a comment a couple of days ago, MamaLiberty spoke of the Constitution establishing a non-voluntary government. That is true. People seem to accept, on the whole, that government is necessarily non-voluntary. At least if you get rid of the nonsense about voting making government "of the people". Government, as it now exists, is a coercive monopoly. But why should government be non-voluntary? Why not let people choose among competing governments? If it is good enough for us where cell phone companies or insurance providers are concerned, why not governments too? (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. Anti-discrimination laws are still state coercion By Kevin Wilmeth Typically for government, this sort of solution does nothing to fix the problem (are we not here answering the same question, again?), and it stirs up bitterness and resentment in the meantime, while ever reducing our available universe of choices to a discrete list of "approved" ones. It's all lose-lose for us. However, from the cui bono perspective, the state makes out rather well; do not all the involved groups come right back to the teat to argue over who got shafted, how can we make this or that little change, and who shall we stick it to next? Make me a deal, Marty, I'm in a dealin' mood! We joke about auto mechanics creating the customer's next problem while fixing the current one,
in the interest of, em, "future business", but somehow it's
inconceivable that the state would do the same thing, despite numerous
and obvious incentives to do so. (Anyone who would suggest such must be a kook or a loony, and probably belongs on the terrorist/"hate group" watch list.) (Read

Gen Y – the Libertarian Generation? By Garry Reed The demographic that voted for Democrats 2-to-1
were young people between 18 and 29, the leading edge of those born
between 1980 and 1995, who are now being tagged as Generation Y.
But Burkee warns the Dems: "While they seem to lean to the left, they're actually more libertarian than liberal, a fact that will reshape the way we think about liberalism and conservatism in decades to come." Burkee's assessment of the Y's guys and gals is a daisy-chained litany of libertarian leanings: (Read the rest here) (Read the entire article at the source website. Ludwig von Mises Institute The Folly of the National Sales Tax by Eric M. Staib Facing a historic national debt that President
Obama correctly characterized as "unsustainable," yet still desiring to
implement some sort of national health-care package, US policymakers,
notably Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad and former Federal
Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, have recently hinted at the possibility
of a national sales tax. More specifically, they hint at possible
implementation of a national value-added tax (VAT) which would tax at a
certain rate the difference between the cost of inputs and the price of
the output along each individual step of production. (Read the rest
