Open Carry - Mama's Got A (BIG) Gun!

Good for you! And congratulations. If you will, at some point please relate to the rest of us folks who DON'T live in WY how much the local trainers are charging for the open-carry training program. I had read somewhere that it is in the $1,000 to $1,500 range, but may have read incorrectly. My personal favorite, once I get the h$*! out of one of the worst gun-control states in the country, is the Ruger Vaquero in .45LC w/ 5.5" barrel. A bit a bit more of a handful - likely to knock me on my keester with the first round... MJA

What's keeping you there in the police state? Come to Wyoming! Lots of room here, and free air for all. Take a look at a site called "Free State Wyoming." These folks are all my friends and neighbors now. They helped me escape from California!! Take a peek at our forum and introduce yourself. You'll be most welcome!

There are no mandated classes or anything else required to open carry in Wyoming. You are responsible for your actions and decisions, as it should be. I am going to take a few NRA classes, simply to get a better understanding of my new weapon and to take their new Personal Protection in the Home Course, since it's being given nearby. The cost for the Personal Protection course is $130.00 and that covers two days, one in class and one on the range! I can't wait.

Thank you for your kind note of appreciation and letting me know my articles are being read in the UK. I am also aware of the UK's 911, 7/7. Thanks for the additional information link on 7/7. It appears there are several neo-fascist national politicians willing to murder their own people for the promotion. The scheme also appears to be part of BOTH the 'major' parties of each nation. There is significant evidence that the democrats and the republicans are both complacent in the plan to enslave The People for the benefit of the bankers (Bilderberg) and believe the UK is no different.

Ouch, as to the newsletter. It was a one month evaluation trial that was appreciated by very few and received no further transmission than that of myself. The time involved cut into my writing and one or the other had to go. Once you know that your government is murdering it's citizens, how much more information does one need before they will act?

I wish your efforts well in the UK. We fight tremendous odds in the struggle for freedom and rights in both, and all westernized nations.

Arrogance!

Too simplistic. If you don't respect someone's poor social conduct or taste, it's fine to "allow" that in another or others, but to go so far as to try to respect that which you think is offensive is a stretch for most of us. Sometimes, simple "allowance with misgivings" is the best, most realistic response possible. Respect is a high-minded thought/concept/principle, but it calls for a maturity level that 'homo sapiens' do not much have, in the main. C.

I enjoyed your article. I was a left-wing Berkeley graduate in 1972 and five years later I enlisted in the Army to get the Vietnam era GI Bill. I served from '77 to '89, leaving as a Warrant Officer physician assistant. I feel so sorry for these poor, unsophisticated kids who are been conned into this nightmare. It was one right-wing congressman who made it possible for recruiters to have access to student records; the blood of thousands of American kids is on his hands. I cannot believe what has happened to my country.

Factoid: There was no French citizen on board that plane. Instead of doing any kind of in-depth research, you find it easier to simply jump on the French-hating wagon? There is a general fear among our fellow Americans that the tragedies of Sept. 11th, 2001 will become fictionalized to some extent.
