Parents Suing For Constitutional Rights As Parents
By Ed Ward, MD

I have been looking for an attorney who can help with suing the Colorado Dept. of Human Services(CPS). Our case was finally closed this March and I don't know what kind of time I have to act on this. Any info you may could give me would be greatly appreciated. Pam

I'm truly sorry, but due to lack of staff and time, we are not able to answer individual questions or conduct searches for the information you need. Please explore the links provided on the page and the other articles by this author. Also do a web search for advocate groups in your area. They may even be in the phone book.

Good luck with your efforts. MamaLiberty

Just What Is So Christian About Bush?
by Doug Newman

Hi, I just wanted to say that I enjoyed your essay, and in addition I wanted to point out that proving Bush's hypocrisy on religion is really quite trivial:
1. Bush's religion states that it is morally wrong to kill another human being. (We'll even give Bush the benefit of the doubt and narrow that down to peaceful human beings only.)
2. The US government has made a conscious decision to kill innocent (peaceful) human beings, in direct violation of the religion.

Rationale: Innocent human beings were accidentally killed by the US government on day 1. Innocent human beings were accidentally killed by the US government on day 2. ... Innocent human beings were accidentally killed by the US government on day 10. ... Innocent human beings were accidentally killed by the US government on day 100. How many consecutive days of "accidental" deaths does it take before it is obvious that the probability of "accidental" death approaches 100 percent? Common sense tells me that it is far less than 100 days.

Therefore, there must have come a point in time, shortly after the war began, when the US government sat down, reviewed the scorecard, and came upon these two choices:
1. Halt the war, and halt the killing of innocent human beings, or
2. Continue the war, and continue the killing of innocent human beings. We all know how it turned out.

In conclusion, the US government made a conscious decision to continue the war, and therefore a conscious decision to kill innocent human beings. Jim

Governments have done this since the dawn of time, and there isn't any hope they will ever stop. Doesn't it seem that the logical answer is to eliminate central government and assume personal responsibility for ourselves? Then nobody can initiate force in our name against our will. MamaLiberty

A Woman Can Do Anything A Man Can Do (Well, Almost)
by Carey Roberts

I went to see REO speedwagon at the rib fest last night he praised women for their hard work raising children and I won't denounce them. My daughter's mother died about a year ago and I can safely say I know how hard it is, not just because of that, but because I have participated in her raising from birth. However, I rarely get any recognition for being a father anywhere from anyone that's fems as our prisons fill with the desperate. R. B.

Congratulations on being a good father in a very difficult situation. The recognition you get from your daughter will be the most meaningful, I'm sure. MamaLiberty
