28, 2006 How on earth can Robert Greenslade make such a fuss about Hillary, in her denunciation of the oil companies? It's ludicrous. This is the first time I've seen a writer "defend" the oil companies, as if they're innocent parties. I don't care how much blame they should have to absorb, the fact is the oil companies are among the bad guys in our economy. It's preposterous to blame Hillary for not precisely estimating the blame oil companies have in today's absurdly high prices. John P. The only thing I can figure out is that you didn't read the article, or you are simply not willing to look at the facts. Government alone is responsible for the state of our economy today, and the current high oil prices are only a part of it. The oil companies are no different than any other business. They must make a profit to survive, and must have capital to do such things as explore for new sources, etc. The oil company makes about 10 cent profit per gallon, but the government (fed, state and local) rake in 61 cents or more per gallon. Now, who is "ripping you off?" MamaLiberty Thank you for being an agent of truth in the sea of lies told by Hillary and her kind. Charlie Thanks for writing, and for the words of encouragement! Your message has been sent to Bob. MamaLiberty Sun-tzu
and Bushs Iraqi War - All The Wrong Moves I liked your article and it's comparison between the President and Sun Tzu's art of war. However, just a question: is this a Aryan, White People's Party website? Where Israel and the Jews are blamed for everything? Once I got around that, or ignored it, the article was helpful. Nobody is responsible for "everything." There happen to be SOME people in Israel who are working against world peace, just as there are "some" Jews who work against liberty. There are some people of every race and creed who do the same, so there's plenty of blame to go around. We don't look for scapegoats. We look for people who are willing to take personal responsibility for themselves, regardless of their race or ethnic group. That's the only way we'll ever get to peace and prosperity.
