JPFO Alert: America For Sale

For years economists have been warning us that the US economy is a house of cards in a very breezy wind. This view has been reinforced by Professor Laurence Kotlifkoff, one of the key members of the Federal Reserve, in a recently published paper. Says Kotlifkoff, "the US government is, indeed, bankrupt, insofar as it will be unable to pay ...current and future generations to whom it has ... promised future net payments of various kinds."

Some localities have hit on a new method to generate revenue. Roads and bridges -- built by US taxpayers -- are being sold or leased to foreign companies. An Australian- Spanish partnership recently paid $3.8 billion to lease the Indiana Toll Road, and another Australian company bought a 99-year lease on Virginia's Pocohontas Parkway.

As disturbing as this is, you may be asking yourself what it has to do with gun owners. The answer is, maybe more than you think. For example, if foreign companies "own" American roads, can they forbid you from traveling with firearms on them?

With the recent revelations that the Bush Administration is pushing for a "North American Union" -- essentially removing borders between the US, Mexico, and Canada-- the outlook seems grim.

Foreign interests will control more and more "public" infrastructure in the US. The more that they control, the more power they will wield in influencing US policy, both foreign and domestic. And foreign interests have made it very clear in the past that they don't like firearms in the hands of US citizens.

More importantly, all of these entities will want a police force to enforce their new laws. That's where the BATFE comes in. And while we can't stop a foreign company from buying a bridge or leasing a road, we can take steps to abolish the BATFE before foreign influences become too powerful. If you'd like to help, please visit "The Gang.".

Are we ready to take our country back and re-establish a Bill of Rights culture?

Talkin' to America Interviews Rick Celata

We alerted you back in June about the BATFE raid on KT Ordnance, manufacturer of 80% frames. A subsequent update
was sent out in July, in which owner Rick Celata announced that he would be going back into production. It should be noted that at no time have charges been filed against Celata or KT Ordnance.

Now, in our latest "Talkin' to America" interview , hear in Rick's own words exactly what happened that day and the
aftermath. Go to (this page), where you can download and listen to the interview in MP3 format or read the transcript.

To assist Rick during this time, JPFO has donated a package of materials valued at over $300 to be auctioned off, with
the proceeds going to the Celata family. Today is the last day that you can bid on this package, available here..

You can also bid on the latest auction to benefit the Celata family here.

This auction is for a one-of-a-kind pastel drawing by writer (and budding artist) Claire Wolfe. We think freedom lovers
everywhere will appreciate it!

Even if you can't afford to help financially, please do your part for KT Ordnance and the Celatas by listening to and
distributing our interview. As Rick states, "If it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody."

Want to help destroy the BATFE? Go to http://www.jpfo.org/thegang.htm for more information.
