July 03,
2006 I love this great website. Many thanks. G. L. Under "New border chief: Walls are not the answer", the claim "Free travel is a God-given right, but that doesn't make trespassing right or proper." is made. Assuming the libertarian ideal of no commons (i.e., all property is private) how does one conclude "free travel is a right"? I obtain permission to travel on anther's land - I don't have a right to travel on their land, do I? ed42 Good question. Private property rights must always come first. Unfortunately, not all land IS owned privately now, so those who wish to move through this "common" certainly have the right to do so. This is one of the real problems that a free society would have to deal with. There are no "pat answers," aside from the absolute law of non initiation of force. Freedom will be messy. Those who want everything spelled out for them in advance are doomed to disappointment. MamaLiberty CA: 40 arrested at urban garden eviction - the whole story. The man who owned the land (after he got it back after it was Eminent Domained) found that while it was not under his control, 40 illegal immigrants turned HIS land into a farm. After much legal fights - with him always being portrayed as the bully for trying to assert his property rights - he finally got the eviction notice past all the motions to delay and finally got his own land back. Now he will use it for what he wanted to use it for, and the tax base has nothing to do with it this time. Even the mayor came out against the eviction of the squatters. Jason Unfortunately, none of those facts were in the news report. Thanks for letting us know. The property owner, obviously, always has the right to do as he pleases with his own land. I'd be interested to know, however, how this land came to be used for the gardens in the first place. Was it with his permission or did he just not pay attention to what was going on? The owner of the property should have made contracts with the gardeners for specific conditions of use, or he should have prevented the use altogether. That's the best way to avoid misunderstandings, and outright theft as well. MamaLiberty Scream
Queens Fuel Nightmarish VAWA System This is an excellent article on our antiquated divorce laws. My son is going through a divorce and we have learned, first hand, how unjust our justice system is. We are Canadians. What can we do to end this nightmare. I am a journalist, but anything I write seems to fall on deaf ears. Lisa Scott - keep up the good work on taking action against bias in the system. H. M. I'm sorry, but Lisa is no longer answering her email from The Price of Liberty. The nightmare will only end when most people accept and live with complete responsibility for themselves and their families, refusing to ask government for anything. Justice will only return to our society when we eliminate the politicians and their lap dog courts. We must live and let live as free men and women, refusing to initiate force against anyone and defending ourselves against aggression from anyone. MamaLiberty 3rd
Political Parties: Unite Constitutionally! Or Be Damned! The politicians we have today are spineless businessmen who are in politics for the fame and glory of it all. They no longer do the will of the people but what ever they want to do.... they are selling the average American down the tubes... for the love of $$$$$.. Our own people are supporting foreign products and don't think about their future... How many steel factories do we still have making steel? What if we get into a real national emergency (and it's coming)? how long do you think it will take to get these plants up and running and the people retrained... while all the while the plants of other countries are going full blast... think about it my friends... we have to support American Businesses... I suggest a 15% unemployment tax on everything foreign that crosses our boarders and import quotas. Toyota should not be the #1 car in the US. The US and Canada have for years been side by side on business and industry and we should return to that policy... Are youth is brainwashed into buy foreign items by the media which is America's #1 problem... what happened to American Loyalty? Big ticket items like autos.... I only buy what is made in the USA or Canada ... NOT MEXICO or other countries.. I realize you can not totally avoid buying foreign ... but there is a choice on many items... FRIENDS, we have to take OUR country back.... and voting Republican or Democrat is not the answer... We need to fight the LUMINATI & The New World Order.... now... http://www.webspawner.com/users/morparmtn/index.html R. F. Another tax is just what we need to promote liberty and prosperity - NOT. You need to study some basic economics before you spout off. Government is not the answer... it IS the problem. MamaLiberty I just saw a headline calling for constitutionalist third parties to join for the cause of freedom. This is a great goal that Pastor Chuck Baldwin and also Rick Stanley have called for. The LP, RP, GP were listed but not the most obvious one in my opinion: The actual Constitution Party, this party continue to grow as in 04 where it was the only national 3rd party to increase in votes. For freedom, P. H. ConstiutionParty.org TheAmericanView.com Response from the author: The Constitution Party (CP) was not mentioned because they do not abide by the Constitution and are therefor not applicable for coalition in parties that will only abide the Constitution. The so called CP violates the Constitution in multiple areas, antiabortion, anti-contraception (although they try and hide it), anti-sexual materials, and finally, anti-seperation of church and state by seeking laws to enforce their religious beliefs. The CP wants to trade one tyrant for a lesser tyrant. And those IMO, are the reasons they were not included in the article, will not be included in any coalition of Constitutional allies, and have no viability as a single party. Ed Ward, MD Mama"s Note: The question I have remains: Just what do you hope to accomplish by all this voting? Are these few new elected "representatives" going to be able to do anything to begin the elimination of the police state - even if they can resist the corruption themselves? I'd like to think so, but the results from those like Ron Paul - easily the best person elected to office in over 100 years - are not encouraging. Our economy will collapse long before there is any chance of such changes by the electoral process. MamaLiberty Betrayal
of Women - VAWA 2005 As a man struggling to control my anger and pain resulting from a lifetime of disrespect, hostility and contempt experienced in a feminist and post-feminist society, your comments give me some comfort and hope. After all, we men are not allowed even to object when we are crucified by women en masse; that wouldn't be "manly." We have relied (mostly in vain) for the women who we thought loved us to expressly reject and destroy the hate philosophy which surrounds us now. So thank you for your "voice in the wilderness." J. R. Your feedback was sent to Trudy. I don't know where you live, but it would seem you need to move. We simply don't have that femi-nazi culture here in Wyoming, for example. Your thoughts and words create your reality. If you think/talk about, and see all around you nothing but dragons, you can't help but think that the dragons control everything. They don't. Find out what's happening in the rest of the world, and I suspect your whole life will be much better. MamaLiberty "We already know that we all have a G-D given right to defend our lives. We should NEVER trade it for a revocable state-granted privilege for which you must: - Pay - Get registered - Get photographed - Get fingerprinted - And are restricted in its use History has shown repeatedly that government regulation schemes and private gun ownership are not compatible. Do you really want federal agents knowing you are a gun owner?" I could not agree more! And I have said so about this, as well as many other gun-ownership-related 'compromise' plans being offered up by the likes of NRA, GOA, etc., many times. If it is our RIGHT to own arms, without interference from ANYONE, why the hell are we even considering voluntary registration in a NATIONAL database? I have patently REFUSED to obtain a handgun permit in my state for this very reason! In the words of Ben Franklin, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I will NOT willingly allow my Rights to be used as bargaining chips to barter with my servants! MJA A Message from Jacob G. Hornberger Let us face the facts: We all know that our government now considers itself to have the 'powers' mentioned in this (and myriad other) articles. We also know that our nation's highest law, the US Constitution, specifically PROHIBITS our government from giving itself such 'powers'. And, finally, we know that the same Constitutional Law provides the specific means for the people to 'alter or abolish [the government]' once it becomes 'destructive' of The Peoples' rights to (among others) life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If the scumbags who call themselves 'law enforcement officers' were met with deadly force EACH and EVERY time they attempted to enforce an unconstitutional 'law', such 'laws' would VERY QUICKLY become a distant memory of The People. We ALL have responsibilities as free citizens! MJA Re: LIP Service - America's Truth Defector by Ted Lang "And of course people on Air America aren't bad at all. Just remember these two truths. Liberalism is refuted by evidence, and people actually listen to the Rush Limbaugh show. Andrew" Yup. People actually listen to the Rush Limbaugh show. People also believe that when Saddam Hussein was murdering Iraqi citizens, it was 'domestic terrorism'; but when American soldiers murder Iraqi citizens, it's 'fighting terrorism'. Go figure! MJA Re: " **EMERGENCY** America's Second Harvest Needs Help! The Hunger Statistics are Shocking! PLEASE READ/POST/WRITE!" First and foremost, yes, the hunger statistics are shocking. However, the data compiled in the 2005 'National Hunger Study' is HORRIBLY skewed and inaccurate! It would be quite interesting to find out how many of this nation's hungry would be a lot less hungry if 1/2 their earned income wasn't being stolen from them in the form of taxes! Taxes which are then GIVEN BACK to them (but, of course, only a small portion) in the form of 'government grants' and welfare programs, designed specifically to make these people completely dependent upon their government for the very food they eat! A2H (Americas Second Harvest) gains a significant portion of their operating budget from 'government programs' which are funded entirely by stolen money! And now they would have the citizens of this nation send them even more? Can any reasonable person NOT understand the injustice of this? MJA I saw no evidence of government support at their website - Where did you get that information? MamaLiberty The
Nazi Destruction of America Hi Ted Great article...The Way. I too am outraged by the assault on our freedoms since 9/11. Here's a thought I had which might serve to expedite our return to justice. Hope you don't mind me sharing it w/you for review and your opinion. To me, the name of the game is to get more doubters on board questioning the official 9/11 story. Biggest hindrance I see for most who I introduce this idea to is: it requires a confrontation with the current administration which raises anxiety levels for potential new doubters. Their usual first question is " so who do you think did it if not the hijackers"? If I answer "evidence points to an inside job".....it immediately raises a red flag in their mind. Since the Pares is like a father figure, most have trouble conceiving of their father being a liar and worse yet a pap of the crime. So let's take a look at who else might be a more identifiable pap without the father stigma. Name that pops into my mind is Larry Silverstein. Hey, the guy announced on PBS publicly, "we decided to PULL IT", inferring he and the NYFD decided to control demolition WTC-7. He has since backed off that stance by saying he meant to pull the firemen out of the bldg. But from what I've read there were no NYFD in the bldg at the time this was said. And then more recently his son said the diesel fuel stored in the WTC-7 caught fire and melted the steel which caused the bldg to collapse......another impossibility. And since all 3 WTC bldgs ended up with molten steel in their basements that was observed several weeks after 9/11, why not focus on these known facts and pursue an investigation of Silverstein's involvement in 9/11. He made a tremendous financial score on the insurance claim and is a more believable perpetrator than anyone else. And for all we know, he may have been working in concert with the hijackers to make sure the bldgs collapsed....an accessory to the crime...so to speak...and one who is still alive and can be prosecuted for the crime. And regarding him as an accessory takes the "new conspiracy theory" stigma out of the equation since it is simply "a modification" to the official story. Another target would be Mayor Guiliani who said he was in his bunker in WTC-7 when he got a call that WTC-2 was going to collapse and then WTC-2 collapsed before he could get out of WTC-7. Who was it that called him? How did they know WTC-2 was going to collapse since no steel bldg had ever collapsed from fire? Certainly the approximately 350 NYFD who lost their lives in WTC-2 & 1 had no idea that either bldg would collapse. Why weren't they called before the Mayor? They were in more danger. You have the radio communications from NYFD Battalion Commander Orio Palmer on the 78th floor of WTC-2 saying just minutes before it's collapse that there are just a couple SMALL fires they need to be put out. Couple that testimony with the dozens of NYFD personnel reporting explosions both before and during the collapse(NYTimes website) and there is a strong case for "controlled demolition". I think both the Silverstein and Guiliani issues are powerful issues which people can focus on without developing the anxiety that comes from confronting "the government". The government should be investigating the issues surrounding these two guys and their statements, especially since now Prof Jones has found thermate residue on steel samples from the WTC bldgs. In any case, it seems to me the 9/11 truth movement is stalling because of the psychological barrier(anxiety) many have to confronting the govt involvement. Why not pursue others who were clearly involved....ie Silverstein and Guiliani ....this may bring more doubters on board and ultimately lead to faster resolution of the issue. Best, K. I. I'm
afraid that anyone with such a fixation on Bush isn't bright enough to
know truth from fiction at all. The blame needs to go squarely on EVERYONE
who was involved in this plot, not just a few scapegoats. One way or another,
the entire government is implicated in this as much as in all of the other
outrages to our liberty. Let's stick with the whole truth, and nothing
but... MamaLiberty Thanks! MamaLiberty |
