Obey the Government - But not Always

Eating Marijuana Gives the Person who eats it a Buzz. Marijuana is an herb bearing seed. Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. The government says Marijuana is Bad. The government says you don't even have the right to eat it. "In God We Trust"????--I scoff at this government attempting to make such a claim. Mr. ObviousThe3rd

Regardless of the reason - or lack of one - each person has the right to eat, smoke, drink, wear, etc. whatever they wish. Government has NO inherent right to interfere, let alone dictate anything. The only legitimate law is non-aggression - which translates for Christians into "Love your neighbor as yourself."

It ought to be obvious to everyone who understands this law that government has no legitimate function. MamaLiberty

I'm not sure, but probably the first time the court met after ratification of the Constitution. In any case, it didn't take them long because this very thing was written subtly into the document. MamaLiberty
