Gun-Free and Proud: a new tactic for a new generation
By Nathan Barton

The brilliant concentration camp brochures were the work of the Mad Prophet, not myself. I did make a series of "Proud to be Gun Free" posters, signs, and labels. These (and the Prophet's camp pamphlets) may be found at http://www.SimonJester.org. Carl Bussjaeger

Thanks, Carl. It has been years since I visited that site and I had a lot of fun remembering the old days with The Liberty Round Table and our wonderful "projects." Thanks for sharing with us! MamaLiberty

You mentioned early in this piece a couple of signs that you have posted. One has to do with registering free speech and "newspaper printing permit" I used to have these but somehow have lost the link. Can you provide me with this link to those posters? Thanks, Robert

Your request has been sent to Nathan. He is trying to put them into some form he can share with us. MamaLiberty

America's Subclass, The Aging
By Dorothy Anne Seese

Dear Dorothy, It was divine providence that I discovered you today. Thank you for speaking out so eloquently on the issues that you have investigated. I really wanted to talk with someone today. My name is Miss Bonnie and I'm a home missionary in Arkansas. I run a little charity on the skid-row side of town and preach the Gospel, hand out food and sell clothes in a little thrift shop. Part of our outreach is a biweekly visit to the local seniors in a retirement facility that sounds much like yours. Most of the residents are 90+ and we refer to them as our little garden of roses. The director of the facility agreed to let us hold a 45 minute meeting every other week, but from the get-go she has had reservations--fearing legal repercussions because of federal funding. They are trying to oust us now and the residents are heartbroken. I was considering contacting a lawyer, but then I was reminded by your article that we are to preach the gospel and let God judge those that hate Him. Our text yesterday was "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matt 5:16 As always, He knew before we did. Dorothy, thank you for being there and giving it your best shot. Your friend and comrade in arms (of Jesus). Miss Bonnie

Your comments have been forwarded to Dorothy. She doesn't often answer feedback anymore, but she just might. Thanks for writing. MamaLiberty

That'll Teach 'Em
By Lady Liberty

As long as the so-called 'justice' system in this country (the cops, the courts and the 'judges') continues to blatantly dole out injustice, what is broken can never be repaired. And as long as the labor unions have more power and authority than The People, you can be assured that what is not currently broken soon will be. At what point will the American People finally realize that their birthright has been stolen from them? MJA

What makes you think the labor unions have some monopoly on power in this country? Government, at every level, is working hard to destroy the last vestige of our liberties. NONE of them have the least interest in the idea of individual liberty OR "justice" of any kind - no matter what they say or promise. The unions are just one small example of the organizations and businesses who have crawled in bed with government in order to destroy both our liberty and the real free market. They couldn't do it without government - and government couldn't do it if people didn't buy the lie that they somehow "need" government to protect them. MamaLiberty

The 16th Amendment is not the Source of the Federal Income Tax
By Robert Greenslade

If income tax is an indirect tax, how can it be apportioned differently based upon the last year's income? Shouldn't it be a 'flat tax'? N.

Give me one good reason for ANY tax. MamaLiberty

Social Security is Nothing but a Tax and Welfare Scheme
By Robert Greenslade

I know of a person who is collecting SSI benefits, meaning he has never worked a day in his life or paid anything at all into social security. He collected SSI while living with his parents and they paid all of his expenses. His parents are now deceased leaving him over $600,000 which he has somehow banked in some kind of account and continues to live off of social security welfare. How can this be??? What makes it even worst is that there is no reason why this person can't work on a medical level so he must be collecting for a mental illness which from all outward appearance must be antisocial personality disorder!!! D.

Why should anyone be supported with stolen goods, regardless of their "need?" Theft like this will continue just as long as we let it - or until the entire economy collapses, whichever comes first. Unfortunately, I'm afraid it is too late to save the economy now. The very young and the very old will suffer the most, you can be sure. What a shame we've let it come to this. MamaLiberty

Parents Suing For Constitutional Rights As Parents
By Ed Ward

What if anything has come of this... I am a single father fighting to keep what little time I can spend with my child.... S. D.

Your comment has been sent to the author. I suspect that nothing much came of it, as usual. Fighting them in court is probably the least effective thing we can do. The state owns the courts and makes the rules... MamaLiberty
