2006 I don't get exactly if you want to keep "under God" in the pledge, but if you do, I agree! R. P. See Robert's article: God and the Pledge of Allegiance for that discussion. MamaLiberty Have
Conservative Talk Show Hosts Sold Out the Constitution for the Republican
Party? Conservatives and/or people on the right do not stay unified long enough to get real and complete control. They are easily split as is happening now. As a result that philosophy never gets firmly planted and encased. Please note how C-Span never has on a conservative unless he/she is bashing Bush. According to Rush Limbaugh, Bush is not an ideological Conservative. However, I would bet if you listed Bush's views vs. any Democrat's, Bush's would come out more conservative than the Dem's. Yet Bush gets bashed by both. You will never get a purely ideological president until all voters are educated to know that is the best for them and for the country. S. P. I don't want "conservatives" or Libertarians running my life, any more than Republicans or Democrats... or anyone else. Everyone needs to mind their own business and be responsible for themselves, not try to figure out how to gang up on others. Government - no matter who runs it - is not the answer... it's the problem. MamaLiberty
