Parents Suing For Constitutional Rights As Parents
By Ed Ward

I'm a mother with a father to back me, we strongly disagree my mother seeing our 11 year age son. It's been four years with no contact, now the Solano court says she gets overnight visits with our son against our wishes. No one wants to talk about it or hear about it I have contact several people and groups. My child does not want to go/verdict came in on May 17, 2006 the cost of this is hurting our family unit. Lisa (have any ideas) L. W. C.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any legal advice. Your best bet would be to hire a good attorney to fight this. But you must realize that there is little or no justice available in this country and that the current judicial system is both incompetent and corrupt. I'd say you might be able to avoid this problem by moving a LONG way from where you are to make it as inconvenient as possible for the other party, but that's no guarantee, of course. Good luck. "Come to Wyoming if you want to live relatively free. The cost of living is low and the people are friendly. We're working hard to keep it free, and we need all the self-responsible people we can get to help us. MamaLiberty"

It is my understanding that Wyoming has recently passed a ruling that would require immediate euthanasia of any 'unvaccinated' dog, cat or ferret should same bite a person. The story can be read here. Note that 'unvaccinated' can mean you haven't yet taken the animal to the vet for it's 3-year booster, and the previous one has 'expired'. This certainly doesn't sound like 'freedom' to me - it sounds like more of the some old government interference and abuse of power. Even the veterinarians in the state can't understand the ruling, since there is no known rabies problem in WY. Government mandated laws which coerce The People into spending money on programs that have no value to anyone except certain 'service providers' equals injustice, plain and simple. There's no 'freedom' in that! MJA

As I understand, this ISN'T a legislative act - this is just a stupid rule (regulation) someone at the Department of Health (as usual, a bunch of bureaucrats who live too close to Boulder and Laramie and Fort Collins) has come up with - probably to ensure a good evaluation report. I think that the legislature can put such a rule on indefinite hold by a committee until the legislature next meets, to review it.

But keep in mind that most Wyomingites will ignore the rule - including most vets and cops. The problem is that some idiots (of which the State Patrol has more than its share, as do local health departments) will say "befehl ist befehl" and kill the animals. It's a stupid rule, but fully in keeping with the "common wisdom" that is flowing though public health departments nationwide, as they panic over bird flu, chronic wasting disease, plague, etc.

Remember that Wyoming is only relatively more free than most other states, and none of us claims absolute freedom right now. As long as the people of this country tolerate - indeed demand - such nonsense, nobody will be truly free. Utopia is not an option, remember. We can only do our best to keep such insanity from taking hold. Wyoming is still a thousand times more free than California, for instance. MamaLiberty

Scream Queens Fuel Nightmarish VAWA System
By Lisa Scott

I am being abused by my wife with protection orders under the conditions you have described- meanwhile she has slashed my throat, black eyes, bloody face, and threatened to kill me numerous times until I escaped the circle of violence. We are now going through a divorce. I lived in my pickup truck for five weeks. R. L.

I'll ask the same question of you that I ask the battered ladies: Why would you stay and be abused like that? If anyone even attempted to hit me, he'd be out the door or dead on the floor. For some reason you've chosen to remain in a position to be harmed this way. You need to deal with that and take back control of your own life, not wait for the government to protect you. Get a life.
