2006 Jen writes: "All we Americans know is what were told by the media and our media is quite biased." I will respond: All those soldiers know is what they are told (and what) they are allowed to know by their commanding officers. Their commanding officers, led by the 'Commander in Chief', are even more biased than our media - their livelihoods depend upon it! MJA The men and women who serve in the armed forces of this country (along with the rest of us) have every opportunity to understand the Constitution, which they all swore to uphold and defend. They are handicapped by their government "education," but there are countless resources available for them to learn the truth if they are interested. They have both a right and a duty to know the truth and do whatever it takes to honor their oaths, regardless of what their commanders tell them! Those who follow unconstitutional orders are guilty of breaking their oath, plain and simple. Unless they understand and act on this, their "Commander in Chief" will continue to use them for cannon fodder and the destruction of both liberty and peace will continue. Those are the only alternatives. All of our lives depend on it!! MamaLiberty What
Do You Mean "We"? If the government stopped giving the "freebies", the problem would be resolved. Len That would certainly help a lot, but it's not the whole answer. Direct welfare to immigrants is only a small part of the problem. All of the government programs, laws, taxes, etc. that distort the free market and the free, voluntary, contractual interaction between people contribute a lot more to that and are systematically destroying both our economy and our liberty. Who owns your life? That is the question we all need to ask frequently if we want to keep all of this in perspective. MamaLiberty In
Defense of Freedom Law Enforcement should be thought of as enforcers of the law. That should work in harmony with law-abiding citizens. Criminals need to be fought. Police Departments need law-abiding citizens to assist the police and report crimes so they can work in harmony with Police Departments. Never should our police departments leave good citizens without protection. If law enforcement cannot be there then they should expect people to protect themselves and should allow them to have weapons to do that with. R L What "laws" are those? Who are the criminals? The only truly moral law is non-aggression. There can be no moral law against any action that doesn't result in force or fraud against another person. There are hundreds of thousands of "laws" on the books that are unconstitutional and immoral. "Law enforcement" organizations operate very much like the mafia these days, and even the corrupt courts have made it very plain that they have NO obligation to "protect" any individual in any way. Mostly the relationship with them is far more like master to slave, even for those who cooperate, not "harmony." Self
defense by ordinary people is highly discouraged by most "law enforcement"
members and organizations. Some work very hard to make it as difficult
and dangerous as possible. Self defense isn't something the police "allow"
us to do. It is our God given right and duty! I'm afraid you have a lot of very unrealistic ideas here and need to educate yourself with the truth. MamaLiberty Islam:
The World's Most Dangerous Ideology It's refreshing
to know that "acceptance" is something that you apparently possess
in large quantities. I wish there were more people expressing things like
this, the problems we face with other illegals and the general costs that
we will have to bear if they go un checked. Great article. Tim Your
comments have been sent to Dorothy. I'm sorry that she will not be able
to respond. She has completely retired from writing, and he health prohibits
her from taking any active role with feedback, but I'm sure she will appreciate
hearing from you. MamaLiberty Thanks! MamaLiberty |
