24, 2005 Great article Rick! Berto George
W. Bush: Seeing The Big Picture I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm not a Christian, I'm of the Jewish faith (but so was Jesus). When will these people stop acting stupid and begin to look at what's happening and start to think? How did all of this Bush adoration, no matter what he does get started? Is it because so many Christians, especially in the southern states and the farmlands of this country felt that they were being made fun of, or didn't believe in themselves or their religion, and now have a feeling of power they didn't have before -- something to believe in, no matter what -- a ride on the coat tails of a very powerful man who says that Jesus is his mentor, and then starts a war with a lie that kills and maims thousands of good people, turns his eyes away from starving children in this country, ignores the fact that it is nearly impossible for the common man or women to get good health care in this country, and is in denial about how ani-American the world is. Good grief, Jesus would turn over in his grave for using his name in vain. J. K. Those who claim the name of "Christian," but do not live in the will of God through Christ are most certainly taking His Name in vain. Unfortunately for them, the Lord doesn't have a "grave" to turn in. He's very much alive and will come to judge all of us on the last day. I must
disagree with you on the health care, however. Most people can get excellent
care if they are willing to be responsible for themselves and fully participate
in it. But it's not free - any more than is gasoline or food. And I've
never heard of any "starving children" in this country. Most
of them are grossly over and misfed. MamaLiberty
