Every year, the trustees and others tell us that the Social Security trust fund will sustain the supplemental retirement system a bit longer. Just a while ago it was predicted to last until 2034, then it was 2036, then 2038, and now its up to 2042 while the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) claims the trust will last until 2052. Soon it will be even further into the Matrix. How
is this possible? How can so many great minds continuously revise
their long range estimates? Its almost as though politicians,
bureaucrats, and think tanks have done what science failed to do.
Theyve devised a perpetual motion machine that just keeps going

Return
to Radicalism When looking back at history, it is always important to attempt to put one self in the time frame being looked at. We must put issues and events in the context of their time or we risk not truly understanding the cause and effect of events. Our understanding of a particular time is skewed when merely looking back through 21st century eyes. Take
for instance looking at the American colonialists and their rebellion
against Great Britain. By today's standards, on the surface, their
ideas and attitudes concerning government, representation, liberty
and individualism don't sound all that radical. After all, most of
us grew up hearing stories of the colonists, and those stories were
presented in a positive light. However, when put in the context of
their time, the ring leaders were espousing ideas that were considered
pretty radical at the time. The colonial rebels weren't just rebels,
they were considered fanatical radicals.

But it seems to be true, and for once (somehow - a miracle?) everyone agreed? Or will it get taken out during conference? Mama's Note: There are a number of other UN nasty tricks in the works, and it will be very difficult to stop them. This is indeed good news, and I hope Dr. Paul can have the same success with other measures to guard what little we have left of our liberty. (Read the rest here)
