Schwarzenegger has the Power but does he have the
Testicular Fortitude to Secure California's Border?

In an April interview on KFI radio in Los Angles, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger praised the volunteers known as the Minutemen Project for their work on the Arizona-Mexico border. Schwarzenegger said they have "done a terrific job" and "cut down the crossing of illegal immigrants by a huge percentage." He went on to criticize the federal government for not doing its job and said, "it's a shame that the private citizen has to go in there and start patrolling our borders." An aide later said the governor would welcome the Minuteman Project in California.

The State of Calyfornia doesn't need the Minuteman Project, Mr. Schwarzengger, to secure its border. Instead, it needs a chief executive with the testicular fortitude to act because the Constitution and laws of California vest the governor with the power to secure the State's border from illegals. The National Flag Should Be Removed From Schools

Below is a libertarian letter sent to teachers, school boards and schools all over the USA asking that the national flag be removed from schools. Feel free to distribute it in your area or to use it as a letter to the editor.

Dear teachers, schools, and School Boards:

Flag Day (6-14) is a good day to remove the flag from schools. Please help, and also educate students about these new discoveries:

1. The original Pledge to the USA's flag used a straight-armed salute and it was the origin of the salute of the monstrous National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazis). The gesture was not an ancient Roman salute. (Read the rest here)

Modern Churches To Bible Preachers: "You're Not Welcome!"

We often hear pastors, radio preachers, and televangelists refer to the great prophets and Apostles of the Bible. Rightly, these Bible characters are lauded as examples for today's Christians. The problem is, hardly any of those giants of history would be welcome in America's churches today!

On the whole, America's Christians today do not want to hear the truth. They want a place where they can be made to feel good, where they can be entertained, where they can socialize and make business contacts, and where their children can have a place to play. (Read the rest here)

One of the things that has bothered me (as it has many lovers of liberty) about the tax resistance movement and the so-called patriot movement is this bizarre idea that there is some magic formula which was implemented by the powers-that-be (PTB) to lend legitimacy to their actions, that the PTB have somehow made mistakes in constitutional amendments or in law which allow them to ignore our liberties and other law - and that if we FIND and rub the noses of the PTB in these magic formulas or errors, that they will admit to their mistakes and restore all our freedom, end the illegal taxes, and roll back 200+ years of stealing power, money, land, and everything else.

It doesn't work that way: tyrants have no real respect for constitutions, for laws, or for decency, and unless those who show them the errors of their ways are more powerful than the thugs _and use that power_, there will be no change. Instead, more and more will be stolen, and eventually everything will be taken. Many people believe we are nearing that point already, where not just force, but significant force, will be required to end the control of the vast network of tyranny that has grown up in this nation and the world.

Because of this, it becomes more and more critical to find allies in "high" (or depending on your perspective, "low") places - people who may indeed be part of this web of tyranny but have at least SOME respect for law, for constitutions, at least some love for liberty - even if they are acting on a daily basis against that liberty. These are people who can, perhaps, be "turned" to stand up and provide a bit of a force multiplier to help fight for liberty. We may have one such on the national stage today. I hope and pray we do; you and anyone associated with TPoL may or may not agree. (Read the rest here)
