Conflict Of Command - The Destruction Of American Military Honor

“Duty, honor, country,” were once the moral standards for the American military. They were the parameters for individual performance demonstrating one’s dedication to protecting the principles that ensured the individual freedoms this nation was founded upon. It is nothing short of both a rude, astonishing awakening, as well as a great sense of shame and humiliation, to witness how far both our military and this once great nation have fallen into such disgrace, disrepute and international condemnation and rebuke.

Those famous three words were uttered by the great American five-star General of the Army, Douglas MacArthur, and are the motto of the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. MacArthur amplified the meaning of those words addressing cadets on the occasion of his receiving and accepting the “Point’s” prestigious Sylvanus Thayer Award on May 12, 1962. Another famous remark, amongst many others attributable to the great leader, was the Schwarzenegger-type real world promise, “I shall return!” when driven out of the Philippines early in World War II. Gender: Good Riddance, Farewell

In the Nature vs. Nurture debate, feminists rabidly insist that all psychological and social differences between the sexes are caused by the social environment. That ideologically-loaded belief is captured in that innocent-sounding word, "gender."

There's a strategic reason for that dogmatic assertion. As long as people believe that men and women are biological clones, the rad-fems can claim that the under-representation of female CEOs and politicians can be blamed on the Glass Ceiling, not on the informed lifestyle choices that women make.

And that in turn justifies the gender quotas, government set-asides, and all the other appurtenances of a feminist society. (Read the rest here)

WEB POSTCARDS HIDE TROJAN HORSE PROGRAMS

Beware of Web postcards bearing greetings. That's the advice from The SANS Institute's Internet Storm Center (ISC), which is warning about e-mail messages that pose as Web postcards, then direct recipients to a Web site that installs a Trojan horse program.

This does not mean ALL Web postcards, but check carefully if you have received one. IN PARTICULAR, if you use web-enabled e-mail, make sure that the URL shown on the message really has the same embedded URL and not one to something completely different. And of course, avoid ANY postcards or other items from unfamiliar addresses.
Trojans are one of the many threats facing us - but I'll still take E-mail over the USPS! (Read the rest of the commentary here)
