This is brought to you by the man who wants to sell you his idea for investment accounts. A man desperate for money. A borrowholic through and through. A man who converts trust into debt. Step right up. Put your money down. P.T. Barnum, who told us “there’s a sucker born every minute,” must be rolling in his grave with laughter.

Since his inauguration, George W. Bush has run up the national debt more than $2 trillion. Between February 1st and March 10th, a matter of 38 days, he’s added another $124 billion to our tab. All while telling us that things are getting better.

Hey, Donald Duck would think things are getting better with that sort of loot rolling in. And it doesn’t even count the $71 billion steadily coming again this year from Social Security overcharges.

Do you think it bothers George Bush? He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He’s probably never done an honest day’s work in his life. And once his public service is over he’ll be back living in the lap of luxury, counting his money, buying sports teams, and smirking his head off. Probably while endorsing HillBillary or Condoleezza Rice to succeed him on the throne.

And where will you and your children be? Well, your children will probably be getting ready to follow Israel into Iran and Syria to find more oil and establish more military bases on the way to China. Many will be dead or dying from depleted uranium poisoning that’s overtaxing the Veteran’s Hospitals from the first dirty bomb nuclear waste attack on Iraq or the hapless troops that are still using and exposed to the same million year life span illegal poisons today. We’ve surged from a five percent casualty rate in the World Wars to a 53 percent casualty rate in the Gulf Wars and doctors are calling DU poisoning an eventual death sentence even if it doesn’t immediately kill our troops on the battlefield.

Fly those flags and paste those magnetic “support our troops” ribbons on your cars while the government cuts funding for veteran care, first responders, education, and just about everything else in discretionary spending. All while about to sign new bankruptcy laws that protect credit card companies and allow returning soldiers to continue payments on their homes even though the bank has foreclosed on them. After all, it’s important to keep credit companies strong. Bush believes in credit.

Meanwhile, the world is turning against us, economists are predicting the “perfect storm” of global factors working against us, and nations who’ve extended us trillions in credit are warning that we better get our financial house in order.

Does this bother Bush? Not a wit.

He continues borrowing, continues taking our retirement money to blow on more aggression, plans a $2.5 trillion budget when last year's receipts were less than $1.9 trillion, and promises a “much stronger dialogue with the rest of the world.”

Eventually he’ll retire, go back to the ranch and build his final echo chamber. Step right up folks; it’s only a dime, the thin part of a dollar. Tour the Coliseum dedicated to the Counterfeit Cowboy from Crawford. Hunt for Weapons of Mass Destruction. Go through the vaults looking for your retirement money. Is it under here? How about over there? Look under that ten gallon hat. When you think you may be on the trail, you’re in a dark passage to the Black Hole of Debt. Get your wallets and checkbooks out. Isn’t it wonderful? God bless America.
