America's Only Real Choice: Constitution or Tyranny?
By Ed Ward, MD, MT

It's the Only Choice the Constitution of America Has Ever Given the People

The corporate-government press has given US a myriad of choices. Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Liberal, Hawk, Dove, Pro-Life, Pro-Choice, Fathers, Mothers, Children, Best Interest, No Interest, Patriots, Terrorists,Values, No Values, Stupid, Not Stupid, Conspirators, Conspiracies, Theories, Divinities, etc., are merely labels to divide and divert the people from the only question that needs to be asked of America. Does America Live by the Constitution of America or do we exist in Tyranny? The answer to that Constitutional Question answers almost all the rest of the corporate-government label questions and allows the People to focus on what is Right, Just and the True America.

"A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy." James Madison

Beauty or Death
By Cornet Joyce II

Last night I was rudely awakened by an antique body and its raw reflexes that are the consequence of the deterioration of age and thoughtless misuse during youthful activities. I put on my earphones and lay in the dark listening to the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra accompanying a wonderful artist in the performance of Brahm's Second Piano Concerto. Being a former amateur piano recitalist and orchestra/chorale director, I was swept, as usual, by the beauty of the music.

It began to occur to me, though, that there are people on this globe who would have that beauty demolished and erased by way of their psychotic desire to make everyone conform to their drive to bulldoze all mankind into the dark ages. Those people have contributed nothing but destruction to this planet for over a millennium and have no intention of letting up just because of the beauty that man has accomplished in all of the 3 societies: occidental, oriental and aboriginal. These very fundamentalists have demonstrated the devolution of their religion by progressing exponentially downhill from Omar Khayyam, astronomers, and the printed word to screaming fanatics, butchers and rapists. Islamic fundamentalists have set about to wipe the face of the planet clean of any beauty, including the inherent beauty of women and their very special minds. They detest anything non-Islamic, and thrive on total lack of self control, which they demonstrate all the time, whether by the asinine firing of weapons in the air, or the barbaric treatment their women and non-Islamic folk. Libertarian Commentary on The Day's News
By Nathan A. Barton © 2004

Over the hump this week, but the action around the world isn’t slowing down, and the battle for liberty continues - many places. Here, liberty has won, or at least, that’s my opinion; the views expressed here aren’t necessarily those of TPoL, RRND, FND, or anyone else!

Sadly, freedom isn’t so available elsewhere!
Buses Become More Like Cattle Cars Than Ever in Texas (registration required)
NYTimes (appears in RRND/FND as “Students test an electronic eye”)
SPRING, Tex. - In front of her gated apartment complex, Courtney Payne, a 9-year-old fourth grader with dark hair pulled tightly into a ponytail, exits a yellow school bus. Moments later, her movement is observed by Alan Bragg, the local police chief, standing in a windowless control room more than a mile away. …Hoping to prevent the loss of a child through kidnapping or more innocent circumstances, a few schools have begun monitoring student arrivals and departures using technology similar to that used to track livestock and pallets of retail shipments.

To me, more sickening than the entire idea of remote control children and 1984-type tracking is the way EVERYONE in this little Houston suburb apparently thinks it is a good idea, and how wonderful it is. “If only one child…” is one of the many excuses for the totalitarian “nanny” state to grow and establish itself. It is also frightening that a web search picked up ONLY the NYT article and references to it - apparently it did not even make local newspapers in the greater Houston area. (I found one other original article, a press release by Aruba (the supplier) on June 15th, in a trade website -and even that talked about the wonders of WiFi and laptops and palmtops for greater educational support.) Perhaps that was intentional, lest “evil-doers” seek out the school. The article reports on major glitches with software where the wrong child was counted, children were multiple counted, or ignored, and where nothing seemed to work, yet they are using this as a crutch to allow parents and others to feel safer. The threat is “kidnapping” - yet 1 out of 100,000 children are kidnapped, and that usually by a relative. The real threat is the acculturaliazation of children to a system in which their every move, waking or sleeping, is tracked by faceless policemen and Big Brother. The lesson for liberty here? “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” More coarsely, “nits make lice.”

ACTION NEEDED!
Tell Congress To "Just Say No!"
To Universal Psychiatric Screening And Drugging Children

Action now needed immediately in HOUSE OF REPRESENATIVES in addition to Senate.

AAPS member of Congress makes another bid to stop mandatory psychiatric screening.

Urge your Representative to sign letter by FRIDAY Nov. 12.

Last September, AAPS lifetime member, Congressman Ron Paul, M.D. (R-TX) tried to stop this insidious plan by offering an amendment to the Labor, HHS, and Education Appropriations Act for FY 2005. The amendment received 95 "yes" votes, but it failed to pass. So the House version of the bill passed.

However, Congressman Paul and several of his colleagues are not giving up.
