The 2004 presidential election was not just a setback for the Democratic Party. Candidate Kerry repeatedly promised to appoint pro-abortion judges to the Supreme Court and to eliminate the so-called gender wage gap. FND is back, edited by the same folks as RRND, and there are some differences
(although not much, this first issue) between the two. I miss the choice
(and the insight gained from two very different editorial teams) of
the two, but dont know if I like this yet - it is like the merger
of two urban newspapers into a single one: you lose something in a transition
like this. Ill wait and see before I decide; and will pick and
choose what stories to comment on, as I have been during the hiatus
of FND. But welcome back, FND! (My opinion, please note - not necessarily

Urge your Representative to sign letter by FRIDAY Nov. 12. Last September, AAPS lifetime member, Congressman Ron Paul, M.D. (R-TX) tried to stop this insidious plan by offering an amendment to the Labor, HHS, and Education Appropriations Act for FY 2005. The amendment received 95 "yes" votes, but it failed to pass. So the House version of the bill passed.
