Louisiana's
Vow of Destruction and Death to Disabled Non Custodial Parents Dear: Social Services Analyst S. R. DA's Office 24 Judicial District, Administrative Reviewers, and District Judge, 24th JDC, Election Section 5, Division P reelection judge Melvin C. "Reverend" "Mel" Zeno. I REQUEST AN ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW. Please be advised, I can be handcuffed and leg ironed for your convenience, just let me know about the most convenient appropriate dress for your destruction of the Constitution and the disabled of America and I will be happy to comply. Thank you for informing me of the Administrative Review. Why was it not done when I brought my 2 1/2 year fight with Social Security regarding my disability determination papers, granted without a hearing since previous hearings facts were determined to "exaggerations" by a non medical reviewer, to S. R. (Her Handwritten Post-It with S. R's name and phone # as documentation, as well as a follow-up phone call telling me that all I needed to do was wait for the court hearing) over 2 months ago? Gun Control
= CSI -- Victimology And Government Investigations I dont watch television; well, almost never! I cave in on Sunday afternoons to savor the only really artistic and creative effort offered on the electronic boobaratus: the latest astonishingly engineered loss by the NFLs New York Jets professional football team. I admit to being a Jets fan for 24 years, dating back to the days of The New York Sack Exchange: Joe Klecko, Marty Lyons, Abdul Salaam and Mark Gastineau. At one time, I held seasons tickets! Now the greenshirts are 5-0, and perhaps they will defeat Senator John Kerrys New England Patriots this coming Sunday. Why Kerrys Patriots? The Patriots helmet insignia bears a striking resemblance to Kerry wearing a tricorn. I realize that I am digressing terribly here in terms of political discourse, but I am actually putting more importance on this game than the worse-than-useless upcoming presidential election between Twaddledumb and Twaddledumber. As to whos more in the extreme as regards the foregoing assessment, take your pick between boneheads! (Read the rest here)
New Media Claims
Bragging Rights In Rathergate Flap When anchorman Dan Rather dropped the bombshell about George Bushs National Guard service, little did he expect it would trigger a crisis of confidence at CBS News. But once people began to compare Dan Rathers performance to the antics of former president Richard Nixon, CBS knew it would have to abandon its strategy of plausible deniability.
When people believe that their news is no longer balanced or objective, they begin to look elsewhere. That elsewhere has come to be known as the New Media, the thousands of internet sites that have sprung into existence in the past 10 years.
And it was the internet bloggers who hammered away at the obvious forgeries in the fake memos. They tracked down the source of the documents. And it was they who insisted that Rather come clean with an apology. (Read the rest here)
Job Loss Reflected
By Social Security Before reading this article, you may want to review where surpluses really come from, a pattern that neither politicians nor media lunkheads want you to know about. It explains many things, including Senator John Kerry's claim that Bush has squandered a $5.6 trillion surplus the democrats left him. In the afternoon of Thursday, October 14th, one day after the final debate, the U.S. Treasury issued its final Monthly Report for fiscal 2004 that ended on September 30th. This report provides a summary of fiscal 2004. One of the neat things this report provides is the basis to figure out how much surplus there was from payroll taxes that went towards Social Security: (Read the rest here)
Libertarian
Commentary on The Day's News What is the cost of liberty? "Now wait a minute, Nathan," you say. "This entire website is dedicated to that idea, that question. So why are you asking me about the cost of liberty?" Not the price - but the "cost" is what I am asking about. Price is what we are willing to pay for something, but an economist will tell you that "price" and "cost" are two different things and not necessarily related. Let me give you an example: The cost of the Athenian Citizen's liberty was the enslavement of nearly 90% of the population of the City of Athens, and ultimately, the creation of the Athenian Empire. When you pay for something, that price may not cover all the costs of making or keeping something. And sometimes, the cost of not being willing to pay the price of liberty (or any other good) is surprisingly high. Today, while expressing my views (not necessarily TPoL or any one else's views), let's think about the _cost_ of liberty. And other things, like "law and order" and "security" and "polite society" and "laziness." 1)
