Take a look at 'Operation Northwoods'
By Ed Ward, MD, MT

Take a look at 'Operation Northwoods'. Where the Joint Chiefs of Staff planned a similar operation to what unfolded with 911. What a coincidental date. The date is the number called for help from this government. It has to be seen to be believed. This is NOT THEORY. This is FACT. It was planned by this government and had been held 'Top Secret' by this government for 40 years. Attributed to some as the Kennedy Staff. It was Eisenhower's Joint Chiefs of Staff. Kennedy assassinated (also made 'Top Secret' by the same government) by an individual with CIA background shortly after Kennedy put a stop to this Chiefs of Staff Plot. No theory here. JUST FACTS. The Chiefs go into great detail about how this tyranny and treachery was to unfold. It shows how this government thinks. It shows how this government covers up it's tyranny and treachery. Do We Stand United With Lady Liberty?
By Sergei Borglum Hoff © 2004

"United We Stand" is the battle cry that we patriotically display on our homes, automobiles, and clothing. Historically evident, the intent behind national unity was not always honorable.

Although their freedoms had been taken and they lived in fear, the citizens of Nazi Germany were patriots who stood united with a dictator for the "Fatherland" purpose of world enslavement. The oppressed yet patriotic people of "Motherland" Russia also united with their tyrannical leaders in order to force a single ideology upon the weaker of nations. (Read the rest here)

The Three Stooges in Iraq, and the U.S.’s First Stooge
By William Marina

The original architects of the U.S. empire—long before its celebration by today’s neoconservatives—understood the importance of legitimacy in the neo-colonialist enterprise.

In order to achieve some degree of legitimacy, it was important to create a native stooge—what some call a “comprador” —heavily dependent upon American power to govern in the interests of the U.S. government.

In Iraq we have had the proverbial “Three Stooges,” as in the movies, often beating up on each other. The first of these was Saddam Hussein, who was essential in helping evict the British from control in Iraq and then in attacking Iran, but who became just a little too big for his britches. He has been followed with less success thus far by Ahmed Chalabi and now Iyad Allawi. (Read the rest here)

How Conservative Is George W. Bush?
By
Anthony Gregory

Given that so many conservatives have come out in favor of George W. Bush, who supposedly isn’t as bad as John Kerry, an important question arises: Exactly how conservative is George W. Bush?

Bush has expanded the welfare state and increased discretionary spending at a faster rate than any president since Lyndon Johnson. His Medicare bill alone should have disgusted enough conservatives sufficiently to refuse to vote for him. The fact that the Bush administration deliberately misled fellow Republicans in Congress about the cost of the bill — a misdeed that would have surely, and justifiably, yielded scorn and wrath from conservatives had Clinton been the perpetrator — should alone convince Americans that this administration is neither politically honest nor fiscally responsible. Libertarian Commentary on The Day's News
By Nathan A. Barton © 2004

"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The "know" spoken of is NOT book learning, but a deep understanding and adherence to that truth. Unfortunately, not many people seem to be able to do that - but if you are a reader of TPoL, you are more likely than most. Hopefully the views expressed herein will help you better comprehend and apply the truth, so that we may all live more free. Of course, such views are unlikely to be those of many people, and are just claimed by the author.

3) FEC may regulate Web political activity
MyWay
How much does it take for these people to get it? Freedom will win out - and all their controls will come, ultimately, to naught - the internet is the latest way in which to "proclaim freedom unto all the land." But the FEC is mindlessly clicking their heels, apparently, in order to serve their masters, the incumbents, who (strangely enough) are leery of the freedom of ANYONE to say just about ANYTHING on the 'net. Too bad. (Read the rest here)
