The First Law of Nature Demands a Second Amendment
The Excalibur of the People
By Sergei Borglum Hoff © 2004

Second Amendment: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The attacks on our World Trade Center have brought unimaginable grief to thousands of American families. They have also ignited a keen awareness of our vulnerability. And, the dereliction of federal government has become evident by its inability or refusal to provide adequate nationwide defenses from foreign aggression. Whether the appropriate charge is criminal negligence or high treason, there is no question that the people have been betrayed. However, individual security is not the constitutional responsibility of government. More than one judicial decision will confirm such a statement. In other words, it is you, the individual that is obliged to make provisions for your own safety by adhering to the First Law of Nature. You must respond to this fundamental law, or perish. I recognize that this is harsh news for the politically correct sensibilities of most Americans, but this revelation is a simple fact of life. Self-defense is the natural and honorable stance that we must all promote. Without decisive steps to defend self and family, "security" is only a word. (Read the rest here)

3rd Party Presidential Candidate Jail Debate: Round Two
By Ed Ward, MD, MT

Jail Debate: Round two is here. Difficulties in finding the correct prison facilities are making the debate itinerary hard to finalize. So many prisons, so few 3rd party Presidential Candidates (PCs). By publication time, a hearing will have been conducted in the case of the Arizona Libertarian Party v. the Arizona State University and the Commission on Presidential Debates. This attempt was to shut down the Bush - Kerry debate, scheduled for Wednesday or allow access for 3rd party participation.

21st Century Paranoid Guy
by Bob Wallace

I recently received an email which read, in part: "Charles Lindbergh was a traitor who tried to sell out his country to the Nazis just as many leftists today would sell us out to the Islamo-Fascists."

The letter was in response to my review of Philip Roth's libelous (and boring) novel, The Plot Against America, an odious attempt at an "alternate history" in which Charles Lindbergh became President in 1940, kept America out of World War II, and turned the US into the American version of Nazi Germany.

To be accurate, I will refer to this writer as "21st Century Paranoid Guy. (Read the rest here)

The Cycle of Female Fear
By K. C. Wilson

It’s odd. For two hundred thousand years women took comfort in men’s greater physical strength. They knew it was for them, existed and was used for their protection and nurturing.

Then suddenly, in one generation, women could only fear men’s greater physical strength. It was a liability. The change was heralded by a remarkable set of false assertions about domestic violence and hysterics over rape and sexual harassment, out of all proportion to their rate of incidence. Four More Reasons To Vote For Bush
By Ed Henry

One: The American people deserve four more years of Bush and his gang of thugs to prove once and for all that might is right, God is on our side, the rest of the world needs to be taught a lesson, it's not what you think and say that counts but what you do, and the American Dream was exactly that – a dream. There's no need to pretend anymore. Freedom, the ability to choose, act, and be responsible for each of those actions is not something you were born with, it's not an entitlement or the human condition, it must be earned. If you or your children must die to earn it, so be it. It's your choice. (Read the rest here)

2) Slain policemen laid to rest in Haiti
Guardian [UK]
The sad legacy of French and American colonialism continues in Haiti, and shows no sign of changing. A beautiful land, rich with potential, it makes even the ancestral homelands of many of its people in Africa look heavenly by comparison today. I don't know what the solution is, and it is obvious that generations of government officials, French, Spanish, US, and UN, don't either - my advice to them is that given to doctors: "First, do no harm..."

Mama's Note: There are two kinds of people: those who produce and those who steal from the producers. As long as we allow looters to run things, no matter how "good" their intentions, we will continue to decay and die. The most dangerous looters are those who truly believe they are "doing no harm". Depends on your definition of "harm", doesn't it? (Read the rest here)
