13, 2004 Two: Party loyalty is to be valued above all else. If grandpa and grandma were republicans then you should be a republican too. Third parties have never been meaningful and just get in the way of what's right. The best they can hope for is five percent of the vote and a piece of the pie next time. And the democrats are simply the liberal tax-and-spend party. Trickle-down economics is a good thing and if you're so smart how come you're not rich? And just remember, table scraps are better than nothing. Ask your dog, he or she is probably a republican too. Three: Borrowing is a good thing, an asset. It adds to our wealth and ability to wield power. If people and other nations are willing to loan us trillions, take it. It's how much you have and must deserve that makes you who you are. When it comes time to pay it back, the government will think of something, people like George Bush won't let us down or run away. We can always just print more money, drop a few zeros from our registers, blame it on Ponzi, or just bomb the poop out of our creditors. You can't get blood from a stone, you know. Four: The Empire needs you. With more than 725 major military installations spread around 70 percent of the world, and another 14 being built in Iraq, somebody's got to pay for it. Stay the course.
