Hard to believe that Fall is upon us with a spread of glorious colors. Sadly, this column is all black and white (I try to avoid shades of gray) and so doesn't accurately reflect the views seen in your windshield or your picture window - or necessarily those of TPoL, RRND, and the rest of the libertarian cyber-community - just my own warped and twisted view of the day's news! 3)

The
Flawed Second Amendment Debate In
recent years, the debate over the right to keep and bear arms has exploded
into a heated controversy that has polarized the American people. At
the center of this debate is the intent and wording of the Second Amendment.
Those groups and individuals opposed to the private ownership of firearms
argue that there is no individual right to keep and bear arms because
the Amendment refers to the people's "collective right," as members
of a well-regulated State militia. The contrary position is the Amendment
created, and or secures an individual right. In the author's opinion,
this debate, from a federal standpoint, is totally flawed because it
is the system of government established by the Constitution that is
the key to resolving this controversy not the intent and wording of
the Second Amendment.

State Government "officials" Seize 6 Year Old Child for Questioning
This is "government" in present day real life action without Constitutional restraints. State
school administrators just handed over the 6 year old West Chicago first
grader to two credentialed Department of Children and Family Service's
"officials". DCFS; aka: CPS, Child Protection Services, CPA, Child Protection
Agency, and a myriad of other subsection agency alphabets to aid in
confusion of statistics and diminish public outcry. All of these agencies
enter a family's lives at their whim without any Constitutional restraints.
These "official investigators" seized the first grader and "grilled"
the frightened 6 year old regarding a former teacher, possibly a kindergarten
accusation, accused in an entirely unrelated event.

Women
Victimized By Feminist Fables Not too long ago, people knew the difference between truth and falsehood. Truth was based on verifiable facts and rational logic. And falsehood was the opposite of truth.
But then radical feminism came along. The High Priestesses decreed that truth was a cynical ploy designed to dupe women to submit to male hegemony.
Feminist philosopher Joyce Trebilcot once ridiculed the apparatuses of truth, knowledge, science. And feminist theorist Elizabeth Fee stated bluntly: Knowledge was created as an act of aggression. (Read the rest here)
War
Lies Are Piling Up Even though a mound of evidence keeps accumulating that the Bush administration exaggerated the threat to fulfill its obsession to invade Iraq, administration officials keep standing byin Goebbels-like repetition of the big liethe need for war. Despite virtually admitting that she was disingenuous about Iraqs nuclear threat, Condoleeza Rice, President Bushs national security advisor, in an October 3, 2004 interview with ABC television, again defended the administrations decision to remove Saddam Husseins regime. In a prior September 8, 2002 interview with CNN, Ms. Rice stated flatly that aluminum tubes purchased by Iraq were only really suited for nuclear weapons programs. Then she made the threat even more vivid by concluding that, We dont want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud. The only problem is that two anonymous administration officials told the New York Times that Ms. Rice knew that Iraqs potential use for the tubes was in hot dispute within the U.S. government at the time of the CNN interview.
