(Authors note: This article was written in 2001, almost two months before 9/11. I had seen before the lies that led to war, that this president was not a man of integrity but just another socialist politician)

I know. I can hear the yelling and gnashing of teeth now! How can he say that, you scream? I have witnessed the incredulity here in my own home. But you must understand, I'm the kind of guy -- when I go to the grocery and buy a can of beans, I expect there to be beans in the can when I open it. I like surprises for my birthday, but don't really care for it in my politicians!

I listened intently as George W. talked of bringing integrity back to the White House. I listened to the conservative pundits boast of his character and determination. Being especially concerned with the judiciary's usurpation of Congress as it comes to making law, I wanted someone ethical to make choices for the upcoming openings on the Supreme Court.

I observed the mad-dog antics of the left, especially those of the drunken Kennedy from Massachusetts as they fought so hard the nomination of John Ashcroft for Attorney General. I took this as a positive sign. I thought as soon as the nomination was approved, Ashcroft would begin a diligent prosecution of the criminals just exiting the White House in a swirl of obviously illegal pardons, theft and vandalism.

Considering my feelings for those in uniform, I took solace in those words, uttered with such fervor and believability; "Help is on the way." I awaited anxiously the return of those sent in harms way by our former "Coward-in-chief" that had been promised a return before Christmas. Hell, I can't even remember what year he told that lie. I agonized for those who were underpaid, over deployed, and under appreciated. We owe something special to those who put their lives on the line for our country

I hoped this President could find a Secretary of Defense who would, and could, find who was at fault when America's finest die, such as those on the USS Cole.

I expected a Secretary of State who would not be the mouthpiece for the CFR like his predecessor, Madeline Not So Bright.

I hoped for a Director of the FBI (not that we need that agency) who was not tied to the criminals from the last administration, who would actively seek criminal indictments of those responsible for the reprehensible acts of the agency over the past 10 years. Anyone the left coast feminists Boxer and Fienstein endorse can't be good for those who support the Constitution.

I envisioned a principled leader who would avoid pandering to the likes of Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton-Instead, I got a politician who would spend our tax dollars hauling the two around in Air Force One!

I expected a true leader who would uphold the freedom of association clause in the Constitution. Instead I got a gay and lesbian rights supporter who dictated hiring practices to the Salvation Army.

I wanted a First Officer who would abolish the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Bank. There was a time in America when someone printed money without constitutional authority they were called counterfeiters. Today, he is called Alan Greenspan. Wall Street and the financial markets of the world quake at his words.

I looked forward to a smaller, less intrusive government. I eagerly anticipated an executive who would loosen or eliminate the chokehold on our schools by the liberal terrorists at the NEA.

I hoped for an honest look at the unconstitutional IRS, DEA, FBI, BATF, and all the other alphabet jackboots. I fervently hoped for an HONEST investigation into the debacles at Ruby Ridge and Waco. I awaited the prosecution of those who murdered women and children of this country while hiding behind a badge. I wanted full prosecution of those who covered for these heinous crimes. Then, I wanted the truth about the Oklahoma City bombing and TWA 800.

I hoped for a President who would not have allowed the Farmers and Ranchers of the Klamath basin to be without water. I wanted a man who, if a rogue agency committed this travesty against the people, would have rushed there himself to open those gates. I need a President who understands that people are more important than fish.

I want a President who knows what he believes and what he stands for. Not one who has to ask his advisors, take polls, or place a moistened finger in the air.

I want a President who has the cajones to tell the liberals their policies are wrong and unconstitutional. It is time for a President, when presented with a bill for his signature, to demand from the Congress the Constitutional authority for that bill.

I want a President to ask Charles Schumer, Diane Fienstein and crew, why they support gun control when they know what happened to the unarmed Jews in Germany.

I want a President to inform the extortionists Jackson, Sharpton, and Infume that the Confederate Battle Flag is sacred to many, and to keep their damn hands off it. Tell them THEY are fanning the flames of racism in America.
I want a President to explain to those who don't understand; our Constitution defines our rights, guaranteed by our creator. Tell them all the rights so defined are individual in nature and do not pertain to special groups who participate in aberrant behavior.

I want a President who will ask those in the ACLU (Anti Christian Lawyers Union) to show him the phrase "separation of church and state" in the Constitution! And for God's sake, have guts enough to say: if it has a heartbeat, it is a living child, and if you stop that heartbeat, you are a murderer!

A lot to ask for you ask. Why so? Do we not deserve to live by the Constitution these people have sworn to "uphold and defend against enemies, both foreign and domestic?" Why can't we be trusted with the truth? Why can't we keep the fruits of our labor? Are we so stupid we are not to be trusted with our own children? Are we to fear our neighbor who owns a gun more than the government who shoots our citizens in their church? Do we really need a government issued number to transact business at the bank?

Why is it necessary to allow those who enter this country illegally to become legal, while those who try to enter honestly are drowning in the sea of bureaucracy? Why does one appointed judge have the right to overrule the will of the people? (prop 187)

The alarms first started clanging in my head when I saw George W. use that phrase which the criminal Clinton and his supporters had been using for years. When it came to the prosecution of those bums who had just pardoned drug dealers and billionaire criminals on the lam, he wanted to just "move along." When our house, called the White House, had been vandalized, and property belonging to taxpayers stolen, he again wanted to just "move forward." What a concept. Anyone think that Charles Manson, Ted Bundy and Timothy McVeigh might have welcomed this attitude when their crimes were first discovered?

Would it not be wonderful if our politicians fought as hard for the Constitution as they do protecting each other's butts? This has been all too apparent the past few weeks as we watched the gutless ones say nothing about one of their own, who lied about his relationship with an intern, and most obviously obstructed justice. Yet, in the privacy of the sacred halls of Congress they rally around, slap him on the back and express encouragement and support.

This leads me to discuss the word that means we've just been had. Every time I hear the word "bipartisanship", I think of the old military term BOHICA. For those of you not lucky enough to have served your country, it is the acronym for "bend over, here it comes again." Think about it. When the word bipartisan is used, another part of our Constitution is about to be trashed.

Bottom line is this. If I had voted for Al Gore, at least I would have known what I was getting. I knew he had only contempt for the Constitution. I knew if his lips were moving he was lying. I knew he would trash my rights at will. I knew he had no honor. I knew he would appoint political hacks to prominent positions in the government. I knew he wanted to disarm America. I knew his hand would constantly be in my pocket. I knew the troops were considered a "pizza delivery" service for him.

I knew, like Lincoln, Wilson, FDR, Kennedy, LBJ, Nixon, Carter and Clinton, the lives of Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen only matter as it pertains to politics. (In actuality, I could list all Presidents since WWII, for none have actively sought to have our MIA's and POW's from any war, found and returned.)

Maybe Gore was exactly what we needed. As long as we sit and allow a plastic politician, full of false promises, wearing the mask of conservatism, to lead us down the path of creeping socialism, all we have is self-induced euthanasia. Perhaps, if we get another in your face dose of Marxism/Socialism/Fascism, we might actually wake up and take back our country from these morally bankrupt, socialistic, money-grabbing whores.
