As for domestic violence homicides in the United States, in 2002, 1247 women were killed by intimates and 440 men were killed by intimates. Despite, or because of, an estimated 1.7 million restraining orders that completely remove an alleged "abuser" from their home, children, future finances and sometimes even their careers. Intimate partner homicides of women have increased on a percentage basis. While homicides for women and total homicides are decreasing, the percentage of intimate partner female homicides are INCREASING. In the last 5 years, intimate partner female murders have continuously increased from 26% of female homicides to 33% of all female homicides. In Massachusetts, in 2000, 24,000 of the 36,000 restraining orders enacted were placed JUST for the unsubstantiated "claim" of "fear". In the Santa Clara County Death Review Committee (SCCDRC) report, despite, or because of, restraining orders increasing 660% over the last 8 years, deaths have consistently doubled when RO's doubled.

Add to that another 700,000 thousand men a year that are at best renamed "visitors" instead of parent and being made to support two households on one salary. A parent is a parent and neither parent should be given more access, financial responsibility, ability to care and nurture their child based on a "heavy hand or unequal eye" that deprives a child of BOTH parent's protection and care. Despite far more devastating actions against men in 2.4 million instances, about 800, more women than men, were killed in 2002 by intimates. That's about 12 days worth of the 24,000 male suicides of the total of 30,000 each year. Either parent may find themselves caught in "the 'crat" "no Constitutional system". Mothers or Fathers can be destroyed. It does not happen as frequently to the mothers, nor is it usually as severe, but take the Constitutional Rights of ONE parent and it opens to door to unconstitutional abuses against the other parent. Either way: A PARENT IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE.

Based on the statistics given in the SCCDRC report, giving men back their Constitutional rights in 2.4 million instances should more than halve the female homicides by intimates. It should also dramatically reduce the number of male suicides. In the United States, a male is pushed into suicide every 22 minutes; A father every 45 minutes.
