Looking For Health - Naturally
By Susan Callaway, RN

This is a new feature at The Price of Liberty. I've long wanted to write such a column, but it's hard to find the time to squeeze in one more activity. Recently, the feedback from a few comments I've made in other articles sparked the need to carry through with my earlier intention. If there are enough people who want this information, I'm happy to do my best to provide it.

Looking For Health will include information of interest gleaned from my extensive reading, with my personal and professional experience added to help people understand and use this information to build better health for themselves and their families. I'm not a doctor or researcher; I'm just a nurse who knows that most people don't have time to search the Internet for the health information they need, and who usually don't really understand much of what they do find.(Read the rest here)

Comments found herein are potentially inflammatory and may be hazardous to tyrants and other endangered and threatened species, and are those of the author and not necessarily anyone else! For great news and opinion, click here for Free-Market.net

1- Powerful congresscritters sign on to INDUCE Act
Wired
"[T]he [INDUCE Act] bill has been ridiculed by techies as so poorly written that it could unintentionally ban an infinite range of everyday tools -- iPods, DVD burners, even paper and pencil. .... [The] list of cosponsors now includes ... Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tennessee) and Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-South Dakota)."
Does it ever worry you that the only time we get "bipartisan" support of something, it is (a) ridiculous, (b) completely incomprehensible, (c) a knee-jerk reaction to a "crisis" that isn't, or (d) all of the above? It sure does worry me. I just hope a lot of this is pre-election posturing and this will quietly die with the old Congress.

2- Cost of wrongful conviction high in U.S.
Detroit News
This is one of those things where superficial logic leads to a completely different result than common sense. These people, truly victims of the justice system like no other, are mistakes that no one wants to admit to. I don't know a solution to this - I wish I did.

Mama's Note: The answer, of course, is to eliminate the three ring circus that currently pretends to be a "justice" system in this country. A return to the rule of law would take care of it. Now, how to do THAT is the hard question.

Stop Writing Me About the Jews
by Fred Reed

From time to time I write about the cloacal morality of the media as they go about wrecking civilization and annoying hell out of me. For rhetorical convenience I use "New York" and "Hollywood" as a sort of abbreviation for the news racket and the screen trades.

This column gets a lot of email. Some of it assumes that "New York" and "Hollywood" are code words for "Jews," and excoriates me mightily for not saying what I am assumed to mean. Let me give you a typical example, the subject line being "Fred Sees No Jews in New York and Hollywood." (Read the rest here)

Good news! Our feedback page is fixed at last. You can see your comments here now. We are sorry, but all old feedback was lost in the process. Please remember: if you want a reply, you must type your email address into the body of your comments (form at the bottom of each article). Not all feedback can be answered, but many of the writers enjoy doing so and are disappointed when they can't. Thanks for your patience and support! MamaLiberty
