was no opportunity to comment. Today, I'll pick on Tom and Mary
Lou, since Sunni is off and about various things. (Editor's note: Unfortunately, at this point ANY withdrawal of troops will be seen as "giving in to the terrorists". I don't think anybody can afford to wait until it might be seen as something else. The fewer people participating in the invasion and destruction of Iraq (or anywere else), the better. And the sooner the US troops come home, no matter what it's called, the better too. We don't belong there, for any reason. MamaLiberty) (Read the rest here)
Let's
Play Pretend! Reality Bites! Say what?! We gonna do it agin' Mr. Boss President?! Can you believe the arrogance?! Can you believe dismissing the facts from the 9-11 Commission and the Senate Intelligence Committee? And let's be clear -- both of these investigative bodies played puffball with respect to the glaring incompetence and unbelievable ineptitude of President George W. Bush and his Republican administration! Dumbo versus Joe Camel! When I was a kid, a real long time ago, somebody would shout, "Let's play pretend!" "Okay," somebody would say - "what are we going to pretend to be?" "Want to play war, or cops and robbers, or maybe Space Patrol?!" I'm sorry, but that's what comes to mind when I reflect upon the toddler mentality just mouthed by President George W. on Iraq The Bush administration has been let off the hook by the Senate Intelligence Committees skewering of U.S. intelligence agencies for providing unfounded or overstated conclusions on Iraqs weapons of mass destruction (WMD). The key issue, unaddressed by the Senate committee, is whether the Bush administration created pressure for the intelligence agencies to reach such an exaggerated opinion of the Iraqi threat. The Democrats on the committee foolishly bought into an agreement that will likely postpone a committee report on that more important issue until after the election. Yet voters would profit from information about whether the Bush administration pressured the intelligence community or exaggerated, twisted the truth or even lied about the Iraqi threat in its rush to justify war. The very fact that the Republicans wanted a delay in resolving such important questions should indicate where the evidence leads. (Read the rest here)

Hunter: Collateral Damage American Independence Day has come and gone, along with the traditional boom and glare of fireworks that bring joy to many kids, young and old. Picture two such of the younger children: Adorable little girls just six and four years old respectively, Mikayla and Brittany. Imagine their anticipation as the big day approaches and they look forward not only to the beloved fireworks, but also to the arrival of their favorite uncle Jeff, whom they haven't seen in months. Now picture the adorable little girls' disappointment because a suited goon in Ohio wouldn't let Uncle Jeff come see his family. Yes, Mikayla and Brittany are just two more victims of the Ashland County, Ohio prosecutor's office. Call them "collateral damage," more innocents caught in the cross-fire as the run-amuck prosecutors pursue their vendetta against Jeffrey "Hunter" Jordan. (Read the rest here)
