Just some thoughts that pass through the mind from time to time.

Would the Minutemen, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and the entire crew have settled for a proposed “sovereign” government if the other King George had kept his armies in America and had veto power over any legislation presented by the founders?

With all of the wonderful accomplishments of the groups Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) and Students Against Drunk Drivers (SADD), I wonder why, with all the deaths caused by prevaricating politicians, we do not have Mothers Against Lying Politicians (MALP) and Students Against Lying Politicians (SALP)?

As we have seen for decades, the military tactics of Israel are not working with the Palestinians: Why then is our government pursuing the same tactics in Iraq?

One can’t help but wonder if Dubya and Rummy thought, before saying the treatment dispensed to the insurgents at Abu Ghraib prison did not represent “American values”, that some of the people they were trying to convince might have seen MTV, South Park, America’s thriving porno industry, a recent flurry of gay marriages or perhaps even the half time show at the Super Bowl?

If we never intended to maintain a permanent military presence in Iraq: Why are we (Through Cheney’s Kellogg, Brown and Root no doubt) currently constructing 14 permanent military facilities there?

Why did the US Justice Dept. fight so hard to keep the audio of the Enron executives scheming to control electric power in California from being heard? Could there be any chance, considering all the connections to the oil industry (and Enron) in the Bush Cabinet, that there might be similar tapes that show collusion on the part of the oil companies to raise gasoline prices?

Considering all the lives that we are told could be saved with gun registration: Why don’t those anti-rights folks cite all the lives that have been saved with automobile registration?

In 1983, after the Invasion of Grenada, when President Reagan said, “Mission accomplished,” all the troops came home. Why didn’t this happen in Iraq? How many of our Sons and Daughters would still be alive if they had? (See question 5)

If former NFL player turned Ranger Pat Tillman was killed by friendly fire in an area where an Afghan military official says there was no enemy activity, and yet was still awarded a Silver Star; what were the soldiers who fired on his team awarded?

If FBI whistle blower, Sidel Edmonds knowledge of events of 9/11 would corroborate the facts as presented by the Bush administration, why are they trying to make her testimony a state secret?

Just asking, that’s all.
