Conspiracy To Defraud And How To Recognize It
By Ed Henry

When you have a subject that none of the responsible people are willing to talk about or discuss honestly, you might say that you are dealing with a conspiracy. When you have the major media, newshounds, investigators, reporters, watchdogs, and think-tanks throwing a cone of silence over the most obvious criminal wrong doing, then you might also say that you have a conspiracy.

When you have candidates running for office who are cherry-picked and seem sworn not to mention the subject, candidates who are all members of the same nonpartisan club, then you should also recognize how strong and widespread the conspiracy is.

I'm not talking about the illegal invasion of Iraq, a subject that required massive lies and propaganda on the part of the Bush administration. Thousands died while Congress and the American people were deceived, but many saw through the falsehoods. Although it's a subject where the guilty should be punished, it's not really a true conspiracy or at least it has turned out not to be a successful conspiracy.

LIP Service - America's Truth Defector
By Ted Lang © 2004

Talk radio’s Rush Limbaugh totally lost it early on his “Open Line Friday” show this past April 9th. Being it was the day immediately following that great sitcon, the Condoleezza Rice Show, I made it a point to defer preparing my income tax returns that facilitate the sending and spending of my money to and by Halliburton, Bechtel, Israel and the Carlyle Group, and tuned in to the Excellence in Bombast [EIB] network.

Limbaugh insists he’s a conservative and that he shouldn’t be typecast as a Republican. That’s nonsense! But many Republicans will never again vote for Bush because of his illegal war in Iraq, his use of our military to advance the interests of Israel over our own, his reckless deficit spending that has saddled our nation with record debt giving increasing control of our nation’s assets to the international bankers, and his “Patriot Act” abolition of our precious Bill of Rights. No conservative in either his right or wrong mind supports Bush on these issues. (Read the rest here.)

Who's Pain Is It Anyway?
By Susan Callaway, RN

What is "pain"? The official medical definition of pain is: ...whatever the experiencing person says it is, existing whenever the experiencing person says it does. The person with the pain is the only authority about the existence and nature of that pain, since the sensation of pain can be felt only by the person who has it.

When that pain is not believed, and not made a priority by those who care for the patient, the suffering can be unimaginable. It goes on every day.

No matter how many times we are told that "patient rights" and good care are important to those who are in control of medicine today, the fact remains that the patient doesn't have any "rights" not granted to them by the bureaucrats and the medical establishment. (Read the rest here.)
