The
Founders did not Grant the Federal Judiciary Several prominent conservative commentators have stated that it is critical to re-elect George W. Bush because presidents have a direct voice in the appointment of federal judges and these judges “have the power to interpret the Constitution.” Since most Americans have been carefully indoctrinated in a federally funded education camp masquerading as an institution of higher learning, most people, including conservative media pundits, only have a vague understanding of the system of government established by the Constitution. This has made it relatively easy for proponents of big government to advance numerous constitutional fairy tales. The Chicken
Chronicles You will find this tale preposterous and bordering upon an urban legend, but I can swear to you this day, that the events I will relay to you actually happened in the United States of America, State of Oregon.
Here goes:

He sees a chicken huddled in an open crate next to the Nickel stand. The chicken looks abandoned and lonely, so Nick, the animal lover, takes compassion on the chicken, picks her up, and drives her home.
For all Nick knows, the chicken is abandoned, on free range. The chicken is not in a closed or even locked pen. For all Nick knows, the chicken found a spot to rest in with minimal protection for the night. Dogs, cats, or any other predator might have scented her out in that open crate There is a nameplate over the open fruit crate, designated Speckles. (Read the rest here)
John Kerry
and the Winter phonies The Presidential election will not be decided by the actions of John Kerry after he returned from Vietnam but in the view of many veterans, there is still an account on his ledger to settle or at least to explain. Kerry served his country adequately during his extraordinarily short and medal rich tour of duty. But upon his return he closely and actively associated himself with an anti war group that many consider traitorous in their agenda. He has not explained his conduct while acting as the leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) which was backed by left wing radical, Jane Fonda. He attended a seminar bankrolled by Fonda in Detroit in February 1971. Watching 125 self-proclaimed Vietnam veterans testify at a Howard Johnson’s about atrocities they said they had committed and observed, the man who would be president later said he found the accounts shocking and irrefutable.
