Let's Be Thankful

On this Orange Alert holiday season we should take time out to thank our nations leaders both past and present for all the things that have made life so easy and enjoyable today.

Let's give thanks;

-For a Department of Homeland Security (the worlds biggest bureaucracy) that has given us a beautiful color coded alert system (I wonder If next year we can hang decorations on it) and for only a few hundred billion dollars keeps us all "safe" and "secure."

The Iraq Model For Retaking America

Having had a hand in forming the Southern Oregon Militia back in 1993, a curious news reporter from back east contacted me to ask if I really thought it possible that a raggedy group of American citizens could band together, overthrow the existing government and return America to the constitutional rule the Founding Fathers envisioned.

Bottomliners - What's Really Important!

I challenged an editor regarding liberal bias. Liberals in the media are totally unaware that they are biased. They are totally unaware that their media efforts strongly reflect this bias. After citing the Jayson Blair incident at the New York Times the editor offered: “What more could they have done?” I had to point out that had it not been for a much smaller paper that chose to expose Blair’s fictional accounts, Blair would still be at the paper along with Howell Raines his editor. Does God Want Bush Reelected?

A bumper sticker one often sees along Colorado’s Front Range asks: “If God is not a Bronco fan, why are sunsets orange?” Dallas Cowboy fans will tell you that Texas Stadium has an opening in the roof so God can watch His favorite team. This is good fun. Certainly, no one believes that God has a favorite football team. However, I cannot help thinking that a lot of people seriously believe that God supports their political party.
