Candidates Confused on Gun Ban

A new career awaits Democratic presidential candidates: offering advice to hunters.

Tuesday, Vermont Gov. Howard Dean explained his support for extending the assault weapons ban next year because “deer hunters don't need to have assault weapons.” Gen. Wesley Clark says: “I like to hunt. I have grown up with guns all my life, but people who like assault weapons should join the United States Army, we have them.” Sen. John Kerry offered, “I never contemplated hunting deer or anything else with an AK-47.” (Read the rest here)

Continuously pointing out the horror of big, ultra powerful government and its police and military enforcers is just as necessary as the opposition’s incessant publicized need to continuously push for gun control for the masses. It is useless to point out to these big government zealots that private citizen ownership of firearms successfully deterred the Nazi armies from invading Switzerland during World War II, or that it removed from all Cold War considerations on the part of the former Soviet Union any desires for occupying a conquered United States. The latter aspect of the Soviet Union’s military plans toward the US has only recently been disclosed. (Read the rest here)

Cut The Debt By 42% -- $2.9 Trillion

We could cut the national debt almost in half, and we could do it overnight. All we must do is eliminate special obligation nonmarketable Treasury bonds, the so-called securities that compose the entire Intragovernmental Holdings section of the debt, as well as eliminate the phony trust funds that hold them.

This would require a massive effort on the part of American citizens. The tax paying public would have to spearhead an effort to get Washington to do what's right. We would have to take matters into our own hands and probably get rid of all the forces currently holding power in the District of Corruption, republican and democrat alike. (Read the rest here)
