11/06/03 Paying millions to advertise a twenty dollar bill -- now if that is not the epitome of government absurdity. After the millions of our tax dollars that were wasted on the wonderful Got Milk program, (100 million per/yr) perhaps this campaign should be called, "Got Money"! Our government, with a multitude of Americans unemployed, feels the need to hire a public relations firm and a Hollywood advertising agency to promote money! Just exactly why must these millions be spent to advertise what every one wishes they had more of anyway, while our veterans benefits are being slashed to ridiculous levels? If we indeed have money for this ridiculous endeavor, why do our soldiers have to provide their own equipment in Iraq and Afghanistan? Congressman Ron Paul, perhaps the only real American in politics, asked some questions on the floor of the House on September 16th, that deserve to be answered before we spend millions to advertise money! Mr. Speaker Already we are charging our wounded soldiers $8.10 a day for food when recuperating from their war injuries in a hospital . We also know that other soldiers are helping out by buying their own night vision goggles, GPS devices, short wave radios, backpacks, and even shoes... It does not seem like much of a bother to cut veterans' benefits . Anybody know who the connections to government were in this public relations firm or the Hollywierd Advertising Agency? What other absurdity is needed for you sheeple to wake up to the criminal enterprise called government, get off your asses and demand a stop to this theft?
