Dear Readers,

Thank you for a wonderful first week! Your interest and your support have been terrific and most appreciated. We've had more than 100 visitors a day, except for Saturday, and I've been told that is remarkable for such a new site.

Our purpose in doing this does not include making money (though we have no objection to those who do), or to become famous. Our heartfelt desire is to help, by whatever means possible, the spread of ideas and information that will lead people to seek liberty rather than slavery, to help them understand their options and the differences between them. We want to give opportunity to ordinary people who have good ideas and sound advice for others on this journey.

While we will have many articles pointing out the shortcomings of our current government and politicians, that is not our central purpose either. We believe that the freedom movement must go beyond that and start to build for the future. We must discover a way to get rid of the morass of lies and slavery that surround us, and ways to help people understand the truth about what it means to be free.

With that in mind, I'd like to invite all of our readers to consider writing something to express their own experience in seeking liberty and what they are doing to promote the changes we all know need to be made. Not everyone has to be a writer or sage thinker to participate. We have a variety of ways to join in the discussion, and we hope nobody is too proud or too humble to wade in and speak their piece. Please review the "Mission Statement" first.

The Discussion Forum [Editor's note: Forum is no longer moderated, inactive.]

Your Feedback is most welcome on any article we have. We don't have all of the systems in place just yet, but you should be able to see the feedback to each article at the bottom of the page. We are working on a comprehensive feedback system so everyone can see all the feedback on one page. Your feedback tells us some important things. It helps us to know if the articles we present are those you find useful or encouraging. It helps us find and fix technical problems, since our whole site is so new it has many bugs to work out yet. Please send me technical problems and suggestions so we can make this whole thing work better for you.

The door to the Editor's office is always open too. Please don't hesitate to write to offer either encouragement or to voice a problem with what we offer.

And finally, for those who feel they would like to expand on their experiences or offer solutions to our dilemmas, we invite everyone to submit articles for publication. You don't need to be a professional writer or have any credentials beyond those of a free and self-governing person. Please review the writer's guidelines for suggestions to help make your submission something we can use.

Thank you all, once again, for your wonderful support and encouragement We are here for you. We want this to be YOUR website and a real resource for the coming days of division and strife. Come often, and bring a friend.

Yours in Liberty,"
Susan Callaway, Editor
