It is always amusing to watch the phonies, frauds and street criminals who comprise our elite political class front-runners, supported by multi-millionaire and billionaire behind-the scenes-socialists, scamper and writhe for acceptance by the very unwashed masses and street rabble they purportedly wish to serve. The only people politicians really seek to serve is themselves, and anyone that hasnt figured out by now is just unbelievably disconnected from reality. There once was a time in this great nation when holding public office as an elected representative was indeed a public service. The pay wasnt all that great, the hours horrendous, and the rewards few. Representatives would bear more criticisms and complaints than accolades for performing a job well done. People, when they vote, always do so with the positive outlook based upon the negative capitulation that when one chooses one candidate over another, they are doing so to select the lesser of two evils. That which starts off as a positive act, namely voting, ends up becoming an exercise in negativism due to the unwholesomeness and unsavory nature of politics. Politics is dirty. But why is this? Politics is dirty because to a man and to a woman, politicians are all liars! Need we itemize the lies of Bill Clinton? Need we resurrect the outrage that should have culminated in his criminal prosecution for selling weapons secrets to the Communist Chinese, or for turning over the Panama Canal to them? What about all of the strange and mysterious deaths and homicides surrounding his presidency? The New York Times isnt even free and independent enough to really inquire into these. Maybe this will all come out in 40 or 50 years just as the JFK assassination is now beginning to air. And when one considers all the negatives of the Clinton administration, Bushs election campaign should have been a cakewalk and his election a shoo-in. But the Leftmedia covered up Gores gaffes, and proclaimed he was the greatest scientific genius ever for discovering global warming and inventing the Internet. Gaffes, such as not recognizing the busts of Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson while at a national historic site, punctuated by his astonishing query, Who are these guys? was of course dutifully covered up by the Times, the Washington Post, Katie Couric and the rest of the Democratic Partys network TV news Leftmedia. Had it not been for the very Internet Gore claims to have invented, talk radio and Limbaugh, Gore and his trial lawyers and media would have easily pulled off the theft of the presidential election just as Papa Joe Kennedy and the corrupt Chicago Daley Democrat Party machine and the mob did for JFK back in 1960. Liberals and socialists are still miffed that they couldnt pull it off, and now offer that it was Bush and the Supreme Court that stole the election. Of course, the biggest trump card in Bushs favor, as is the case with any newcomer or challenger, is the horrible in-office behavior of the incumbent. And in that regard, who could be more horrible than Clinton? Again, of course, the answer, once again, is simple. Its now Bush! All the reasons why most Republicans and independents voted for Bush have evaporated into thin air! Sure he gave US tax reduction, but so what?! Look what he did with government spending! Its beyond through the roof - its now out of this world! His fiscal performance is beginning to outdistance that of Democrat spending lunatic LBJ. He started a war with a sovereign nation that hadnt attacked US, citing weapons of mass destruction, the ability of those weapons to be deployed against our troops in 45 minutes, a nuclear arsenal, and the biggest lie of all, that Saddam Hussein and Iraq participated in the 9-11 terrorism. Bush has proven himself to be a liar, and considering the military quagmire, the fiscal budget mess and national debt hes gotten US into, it is now easier than ever to remove him from office in the next election. His support of Senator Ted Kennedys education squandering was concocted to gain favor with Kennedy and Democrats. How did that play out? Kennedy has continued to attack Bush and mean-spirited Republicans, culminating recently with the charge that Bush got US into war with Iraq by committing fraud. Sadly for Republicans, even Kennedy has now told the truth! The Bush re-election was a sure thing - easy pickins based upon his popularity, his catering to illegal Mexican aliens, and his stellar performance as a war president. If the Democrats hadnt tarnished themselves with the likes of Clinton and Gore, the mid-term election results would have been much different. Since RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie has proclaimed that the Republican Party is now the party of big government just like the Democrats, the latter are self-destructing in response to all the bad press they created for themselves outside of their own controlled media. Thats why we have all these Demo candidates! There is now the need for a big change in the Democrat Party, and if this change is made, Democrats will be assured victory. And to quote the late Buddy Holly, its so easy. All that needs happen, is for Terry McCauliffe, Clintons Chairman of the DNC, to proclaim that the Democrat Party is the party of the little guy, and not the party of big government; thats the Republicans. If Hillary came out on that platform, offered that shes opposed to the assault weapons ban, she would win by a landslide! <Theodore E. Lang>> 9/28/03
